I went to reboot and noticed only the power light is on, and flickering at that. With a new power supply it seems to have accepted the time zone setting, even logged in via telnet and rebooted. Hopefully it doesn't go down again 😁

I'm unable to check right now because the ISY has gone offline. However, I doubt any of this is due to a mismatch of the UI and server versions.
-
Also the Admin Console Java app is very slow and not responsive when I attempt multiple tasks in sequence. There is a red flag in the lower left corner when it is failing to respond.
-
Also in system status it shows startup time was today 10 AM, but I did not reboot it.
-
NTP server too, I set it to a local NTP on the LAN but it keeps reverting back to ntp.org server

Now I noticed the time zone is stuck on USA, CA Los Angeles and this causes issues with my scheduled programs. I try to set the correct timezone but it doesn't save. I tested the SD card and can read it all without any errors.

I just noticed ISY was offline from a 3rd party integration with an invalid credentials error. After some troubleshooting (because obviously this can't be a password issue) turns out the ISY reverted back to the default admin/admin user and password. What could possibly cause this? Once I login all the devices, scenes, and program appear to be working. It was working no less than 4 hours ago when outside lighting turned on.

I can either use an existing micro module that controls outdoor lighting or install a new one in an empty junction box that's a few inches away from the PLM. Upon bench testing it appears to work as intended toggling the micro module on and off. I have yet to test how well it will integrate with my scenes. Also I can't recommend the WAGO Levernut enough, especially where you have a junction box with 4-5 neutrals. No more nightmares thinking about replacing a failing Insteon device!

The one I'm looking at is Intermatic EK4236S which is line voltage. Supposed to be relay based and "compatible with LED lamps" I'm not particularly interested in making circuits or finding spare outlets to hang IOlinks (and then having to run the lv wiring) I did look into the Insteon motion sensor but it's unclear how the photocell works, if it will withstand outdoor operation, and lugging a device around to charge batteries would be annoying.
-
I was wondering what are your thoughts on this... If I wire a photocell to switch the sense wire on a micro module could I then capture the status of that micro module directly without having to hack around it (create programs and the like)? In other words photocell turns on (because it's dark outside) could this directly trigger the scene where the micro module is a controller?

I think the only electronic device on that circuit is a wifi... washing machine. Certainly no UPS or things of that nature.

This is the program. Most nights it does work some it does not (such as yesterday) Status = True Last Run time = Sun 2020/11/15 05:32 Timer: New Outside Lights On - [ID 0032][Parent 0002] If Time is Sunset Then Set 'Outside Lights / Scenes / Pool Light' On Set 'Outside Lights Bright' On Set '54.FB.27.1' On Set 'Inside Lights / FLOOR OUTLET' On Set 'Outside Lights / Scenes / Pool Light' On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') And the scene:

I have a program setup on the ISY that at sunset turns on some scenes and devices. For the past few days it has not been working. I login to the ISY and trigger the scene directly and that works fine. I can also connect with the Admin Console and trigger the program to turn on the lights. How can I get the scheduled program working again? The programs to turn off the lights don't seem to be having issues. I do notice one of the devices in the program intermittently says not responding in the Admin Console, but I don't think that should be blocking the other items.

I worked this out with ISY tech support. The solution was to set the KPL button to non-toggle mode and them back to regular mode. Odd...

This is the scene that has issues. Note that issue is only through the Patio KPL button. The On, Fast On, Off, Fast Off, Bright, and Dim commands from the ISY work as expected. When I press Patio KPL Outside Lights button I expect that 1) Rear Patio Recessed Lights turns on, 2) Patio KPL Outside Lights button illuminates to indicate the lamp is on and 3) that I can press Patio KPL Outside Lights button again to turn off the light. Here is how the button appears in the ISY: And the lamp: And a new scene, all I do is go to Link Management > New Scene, and then I drag the devices to it, set everything as responder (no controller in these):
