  1. Hey All, I know this has been covered before but I just can't seem to get it to work. I looked at all the posts I could find and am still stuck. Goal: Open Garage door from Keypadlinc Button B when button is ON. Close Garage door from Keypadlinc button B when the button goes to off. My setup: Keypadlinc Button B is set to Toggle On/Off IO Linc is set as:I/O Linc Mode: Momentary C Relay set via Sensor Input: Enabled Send On Cmd: When Closed LED: On Beep with Set Btn: Off The door sensor is wired to Ground and N/O as is recommended in the OI Line manual. The Problem: The door closes just fine with the Off command but when the sensor state changes to ON (when the door is completely closed) the door bounces back open again. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
  2. Long story short it is my own fault. My niece tipped over a drink in my office where I keep the ISY on a shelf. No fault of the ISY itself. No I haven't contacted them. I was hoping not to bother them with our own idiocy. Guess I will.
  3. Hey guys, My ISY went belly up. I have over 200 devices, dozens of programs, geofencing setup, insteon and z-wave devices. I DO thankfully have a backup. Can anyone point me to documentation on how to replace the ISY with a brand new one? I couldn't find anything in the wiki. Thanks! Kerry
  4. Yup just got it. I had missed one thing. Turning off Verify for client side. I am getting one last error. The Alexa console is not finding the ISY. I went back into the Portal console and into Connectivity, Amazon Echo and I get this error message: "The ISY skill is not linked to your portal user profile. Please go to your echo app, enable the ISY skill, and link the skill with this user profile." When I go back into the Echo console, and go into the details of the Skill I don't see any place to link the skill to the ISY Portal user profile. Think I'm getting close.
  5. OK I have the "other" dashboard now and checked it out. It was already set to TLS 1.2 and All. Funny you didn't understand why I ended up digging into HAD. Maybe because they are both called Dashboards? Verified, rebooted and still showing as offline in the Portal site.
  6. This is becoming an exercise in frustration. I feel like a total Noob. Why wouldn't these required settings just be exposed in the admin console configuration section with the rest of the network config? Why the need to add it to a completely new dashboard that I now need to install? BTW, I just went to do that.... http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Home_Automation_Dashboard Based on that, I am being told I need to follow a link for install files in the wiki that doesn't exist. "The latest HAD release can be downloaded here: Link to be supplied soon." I do not have a wrench in the upper right of my admin console in any of the screens.
  7. Hmmm I'm not seeing those options on my mine and I am running the latest firmware and UI. Screenshot: https://plus.google.com/+KerryLebel/posts/9pPYitBcCEW
  8. Thanks Michel for the response. Couple of things from following that guide. I have the i994 not the Pro. So there is no way for me to configure the TLS version or HTTPS Client settings. The guide also says only the Pro support TLS 1.2. Also, the link to the dashboard in the PDF guide doesn't work. Just an FYI. Am I not going to be able to use the ISY Hub without a Pro model just because or needing more modern network settings?
  9. Good questions. I did validate my email address but I did NOT validate my ISY in the portal account. I never get asked to validate the ISY in the java based console after I add it or within the my.isy.io console. It just adds the ISY and thats it. NOTE: I have deleted the ISY from the the Portal website and re-added it multiple times.
  10. It does show up in the Alexa skills. I think we need to take it back a step though. You are jumping to Alexa when I can't even get the ISY to show up as communicating via the ISY Portal. So bizarre. I have port forwarding setup. My Mobilinc app works just fine. Just not understanding where the issue is and running out of troubleshooting steps.
  11. Did that already. I installed the skillset but it can't find the ISY. Same thing for the ISY Portal. Nothing seems to be able to see the ISY. Interestingly, when I go into my WIFI router, the ISY shows up in the DHCP table just fine and I can control it just fine via Mobilinc. Still not sure where the issue lies.
  12. Interestingly enough the Tab now shows up. No idea what changed. So now I see the Portal Tab but it says Offline/Not Registered. When I got to my.isy.io and take a look I have my ISY listed in there but it shows as offline. Not sure how it can't be registered when I added it into the ISY Portal.
  13. V4.4.6 for both the Firmware and the UI. Kerry
  14. Hi All, I read the wiki and followed the directions that I found but I still have a few issues. When I log into the ISY Portal my ISY is showing as offline and unavailable. I verified the UID is correct. Opening up the admin console I do not have a Portal Tab under Configuration. When I click on Manage Modules to see my list of modules, I get the following. ISY Portal Uninstalled. Active What step did I miss? Thanks, Kerry
  15. Thanks. I was thinking there had to be a way via web services to do it as well. I would prefer to not have to power down the cameras if at all possible. I would have to replace about 6 outlets to make that happen.
  16. Has anyone figured out how to control their cameras from the ISY? I have several Foscam camera around my house. Here is the scenario I would like to build. Geofence around my home created within Mobilinc. When I leave the geofence area the ISY sets my Foscam cameras to send emails with snapshots if it senses movement or sound in the house. When I arrive back within the geofence area I want the ISY to disable this function again so I am not constantly triggering it. Is this even possible? Thanks, Kerry
  17. Mike that was very helpful. Thanks! One last question. The variables for $i.SchlageLockedBy and $i.SchlageUnLockedBy are integer variables. How are you translating that to a family member name in your notifications?
  18. Yup Im screwed. Im not a web services guy. I was just hoping there was some easy way to setup a variable like you mentioned in the earlier post. I'm trying to understand how you are populating those two variables. iSchlageUnLockedBy --------------------- 999 = Tamper Alarm 55 = Insteon Keypad 0 = Manually UNLOCKED 1 = Mary 2 = Michael 3 = Janet 4 = Tina 5 = Joe 6 = Alice iSchlageLockedBy ------------------------------------ 999 = Tamper Alarm 0 = Reset when UNLOCKed by Keypad or Manually UNLOCKED 1 = Manually LOCKED from inside 2 = LOCKED by Outside Schlage button 3 = LOCKED by Insteon Keypad 4 = LOCKED by KPLAllOffButton Program 555 = LOCKED by SchlageTimeout Program
  19. Awesome MIke. I followed some of your program logic and get the timers for the door locks all setup. I would like to understand how you do logging and notifications though. I have Users 1-4 setup now exactly the same on the front and rear door locks. If I am away from the house I would like to get a text notification if someone unlocks one of the does and which user's code was used. Is this possible? Any idea how to do it? Thanks!
  20. Hi All, Based on your recommendations I picked up the Schlage BE469. Nice lock! I really like it so far. With a little experience with it now, there are some interesting things I am trying to figure out. If I add the lock to a program, the only things I can do are Lock, Unlock and Query the deadbolts. BUT if I just highlight the deadbolt and click the Options button I have access to lots of the settings (such as Autolock, Code Length, Alarm Mode) that I can configure but I can't make those changes programmatically it seems. For instance, I like the autolock feature but I only want it enabled when I am outside the "Home" geofence. Its a pain in the rear to have it on when I am going in and out of the house a lot during the day and it autolocks after 30 seconds. Has anyone figured out how to make the configuration changes to the lock via a program yet? Last I would like to track and log WHICH door codes are being used. The Schlage Sense locks offer this option. I am not seeing a way to do it with the Schlage BE469 which is the Schlage Connect line. Any ideas on this one? Thanks! Kerry
  21. Great. Thanks for the feedback all!
  22. Hi All, I am looking at replacing my standard deadbolts at my house. My family for the life of them cant seem to figure out how to lock the doors. Anyway, I know there are Yale, August and others. I have been reading through the forums and it seems there are lots of issues. Anyone found a setup they like that works consistently and has decent enough battery life? Zwave, Insteon or other? Thanks, Kerry
  23. Sorry I was being generic in my terminology. I meant to re-link the switch to the ISY. LeeG I dont know if you remember a few weeks back Michel cleaned up a corrupt file system for me. I have a bad feeling this might be leftover mess from that issue. So using the old backup would be of little good.
  24. So if the E2 is missing from the device is the only fix to re-pair them? Not sure how I ended up in this situation just be replacing the PLM. Ugh.
  25. Jon are the record types listed in the wiki anywhere that you know? I did some digging around and couldnt find a reference table.
