Hello, first time poster. I'm researching the Insteon network and ISY994i. My question may be common knowledge to the pros but I can't seem to find the answer in the forum.
I have 2 rocker switches that turn on and off my kitchen lights. There's one rocker switch at each end of the kitchen. If I'm going to control my kitchen lights with Insteon/ISY, do I need to replace both rocker switches with a Switchlinc or could I get away with just one? If I use just one Switchlinc and leave the other as it is, how would it affect the programming of the Switchlinc in a scene/program if I manually turn on/off the other light switch? Also, if I manually turn on/off the other light switch, will this information be relayed back to the ISY in the way of feedback? IOW, does the Switchlinc know if the lights are on or off even though they were turned on/off by a non-Insteon device?
