  1. Hmm yeah I'll have to dig out the parts I bought but I'll give that a go again. No harm in trying anyways! Thanks guys
  2. Hi All, I too went through this probably about 2 years ago when my V1.B 2413S died about 2 years into it's life. The cap replacement worked like a charm but now, sadly I fear it may have failed again. The ISY no longer connects to the PLM but the LED light is. Do you guys think replacing the caps again will bring it back to life or is there something different going on and maybe better off buying a new one?
  3. I'm curious, are there alternatives to Weatherbug for data sources? Yahoo? The weather channel? I realize it would take some time and work to modify the climate module but would it be something worth looking into?
  4. I'm guessing you're asking for a comparison of the ISY994i and ISY994i PRO? There's a comparison table near the bottom of the page here: http://www.universal-devices.com/reside ... 4i-series/ Plus, you can upgrade from the ISY994i to the ISY994i PRO via a simple software update which can be purchased later via modules Hope this helps!
  5. The only thing I see with this, is that the antenna on the back of the KPL's are 2 wire. The wires from the control board are soldered to a circular antenna on the back of the plastic enclosure. Not sure how you would go about extending this...
  6. Ah you're right! I never really looked closely at the circuit board until you mentioned that! Hmm, I wonder if I soldered on LEDs if they would work...
  7. Hey guys, I have a few questions about setting up a 3 way switch. I still have to figure out the wiring in the house but was wondering about how things would work in the end.. If I want to have the light "dimmable", do both controlling switches have to be dimmers or just the controlling one on the load? And if I can mix and match, will the dimmer status show correctly on a linked on/off switchlinc? Thanks!
  8. Great solution! I do have a question though, why do you check that a switch is on as well as that it's not off? Seems redundant to me, but I've seen this a number of times on examples people post on the forum. Am I missing something here? Thanks!
  9. Still new to ISY programming so maybe someone can double check this for me, but I think what I would do is break the program out into 2 parts... A folder with the conditions to check if either of the garage doors are opened. Then a program inside of that to check if the time is from sunset to sunrise... If it is, turn the lights on and off as you have it..
  10. Another option, what about assigning a KPL button to send an email? I should add that I don't have any experience with any of this yet. I've ordered a bunch of goodies but am waiting for the PLM to arrive before I can do anything (curse you back order!)
