  1. @io_guy when you say you have a 700 series USB stick, where do you have that installed? Do you have a Pi somewhere running it or is there a way to use it with the ISY itself? I updated to the 500 series internal board a while back from the 300 that came with my ISY, sounds like this is yet another upgrade needed?
  2. I guess it wouldn't matter much, I have 3 of them all with varying paths that they take, even one that shows direct connected to the ISY and even that one gives me problems. You can generate the same by opening up your Event Viewer, then right clicking on the Lock and going to Z-Wave > Show Information in Event Viewer (like the attached). 3. I wish I had your luck. Question for you, do you have any repeaters or devices that would repeat in the middle or are your locks being accessed directly from the ISY with no other ZWave repeaters in the way?
  4. I have 3 of the BE469NX and have absolutely nothing but problems with them. They are the most finicky pieces of junk, I can never rely on them, they never listen to any commands and are constantly in an "Unknown" state. It's so finicky that sometimes when it's in an "Unknown" state I can just hit Query and it'll get the status, sometimes not. I've re-built my ZWave network several times thinking that "oh this is going to be the one, they'll work with this update" only to be sorely disappointed. The last time I reset and built the network I had to take the ISY to each door to even get them to start communicating. I've got an Aeotec repeater and Siren in the mix just for good measure and nothing seems to work. Sadly, I'm with everyone else here, I'm so tired of throwing money at ZWave door locks (I've tried a few) and other items just to be disappointed. Is there seriously no good door locks out there that will reliable communicate with the ISY?
  5. Awesome to hear Mike, I've got the same problems with my Schlage locks on 5.2/3, rebuilt the z-wave network today and now 2 of the 3 locks added but 1 of them came down with 6 entries while the other one only added 1 like it used to in the past, they also seem to be trying to write updates but keeps failing that too.

    Polisy

    Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Polisy was just an appliance for Polyglot and that was it? From my understanding you'll still need the ISY and will do all of the same tasks you do today in the ISY.
  7. I kept getting the same message that @visualcoat was getting, I tried your suggestion @Michel Kohanim but doesn't seem to change anything, even deleted the home to un-link everything and re-created a home, no dice. **Edit** Never mind... I see what happened, I hadn't added any of the Google Home stuff in the Portal. @visualcoat make sure you have it setup in the Portal > Tool > Connectivity > Google Home
  8. Hi all, does anyone know how to/if its possible to set Variables from a system variable? Trying to do some logging for the Thermostats in the house (unless anyone has a good way to log the daily usage of the Thermostats) Examples: $CustVariable Init To ${sys.node.23 40 9 1.ST} $CustVariable Init To ${sys.time24}
  9. Ah, that would be why for both cases. Setup the LampLinc's as Controllers as well and they are now working as expected. Its to bad that the FanLinc cannot be setup as a Controller, wonder if the same behavior could be achieved with a Program.
  10. Hi all, had a quick question that I'm stumped on. I have a 6-button KeypadLinc setup in my bedroom controlling my Fan (High & Off), Fan Light, and 2 different LampLinc's. The Sceneare all setup and working just fine, but if I do not use the KeypadLinc to turn on/off or something its controlling, it seems that the status is not reported on the KeypadLinc. For example, if at the KeypadLinc I turned on bed side light, and while in bed I either hit the button and turn it off, or use Mobilinc to turn it off, the status is still shown on the KeypadLinc as being on. Same thing for the FanLinc as well. Anyone have any cleaver way of getting it to change its status even if its not the one changing the sate of the units?
  11. Michel, Pointing the ISY to Google's public DNS seems to have done the trick, I'll keep an eye on it to make sure. Thanks for the reply!
  12. Humm, interesting since it seems to work sometimes. Is there a way you know to set something like on error retry?
  13. Anyone else get an intermittent result when having notifications sent? I have setup a Verizon account so the ISY can send out notifications to me (a fun little program here and there). When I test, the test notifications come though, but when I have it run though a program and have it send something, it does not always come though. For example, I ran the Then command on one of my programs that sends notifications, I had to run it 4 times before I actually got my text, not sure where the other 3 ended up. **Edit** Checked the error logs, seems I'm getting below, sometimes it sends them all flawlessly (just set it up to send 4 times with a 10 second wait between all of them) and I got all 4 Fri 2013/01/25 08:00:05 AM System -50010 outgoing.verizon.net Fri 2013/01/25 06:05:57 PM System -50010 outgoing.verizon.net Fri 2013/01/25 06:11:53 PM System -50010 outgoing.verizon.net Fri 2013/01/25 07:00:06 PM System -50010 outgoing.verizon.net Fri 2013/01/25 07:00:36 PM System -50010 outgoing.verizon.net Fri 2013/01/25 07:01:15 PM System -50010 outgoing.verizon.net
