  1. Thank you, everyone, for the tips. All the different lights were in a single program. This evening I will create a scene with all the lights. The logic in this thread makes perfect sense and I suspect this is the issue. 4 of the lights are LED and one is CFL (had an LED go out last week...). They are all on dual band switches (though I don't recall the exact model number.
  2. Good Afternoon, I have a daily program that runs to turn off and on exterior lights in my home. Probably once or twice a week an individual light (there are 5 in the program) fails to turn off or on. Here is my question: What is the best method of troubleshooting? Thanks! Phillip
  3. Thanks for taking the time to offer advice. A factory reset and restore from the ISY seems to have solved the problem for now. I suspect that this device (one of my oldest) is on borrowed time. Thanks again, Phillip
  4. A filter has been installed since day 1!
  5. Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, it's on a circuit with a bunch of other computer stuff (router, NAS, sonos, etc). But I've also had it set up the same way for 5 or 6 years without an issue. When I get back to the house I will figure out a way to test that later today.
  6. Not sure if you were asking about the PLM or keypad. Photos below. And are you asking about the ISY firmware? v.4.6.2 Or the keypad? When I select the device in the isy menu I see v.40 Thanks for the help.
  7. Good Morning, I apologize in advance as I am certain this has been covered before - my normally adequate search skills have failed me today. I have a keypad in my family room that seems to have come "unprogrammed." Suddenly a few days ago it stopped controlling the scenes programmed into it (basically a few lamp combinations). -I've tried a factory reset of the device (pulled set switch, held down set switch for 10 seconds) -After reset, I used "restore device" from the ISY menu. After a few minutes, I get an error that it cannot communicate with the device and to check connections. -Running various diagnostic tools yields the same results. -I can control the dimmer via the ISY computer interface (so it's getting some communication?) Any other suggestions for things to try? Thanks, Phillip
  8. @LeeG Thanks for the suggestion. Worked like a charm.
  9. Are you thinking the flashing indicates they aren't linked to the scene? How would it be possible that they would turn the scene off (and indicate it's on) but not turn them on?
  10. Thanks for the suggestion: I did that. But it didn't solve the problem. The keypad button still blinks when pressed and doesn't turn on the light.
  11. Good Afternoon, I recently moved into a new home and find my self starting from near zero on my isy/programming skills. My question: I have a keypad that isn't behaving the way I want it to. I have a scene that includes a lamp module (responder) and keypad (controller). I also have another scene with the opposite (in case the lamp is turned on in a different scene). If I turn on the lamp through the admin console the keypad button lights up and the button will turn the scene off. However, if I use the keypad to turn on the scene the button blinks a few times then nothing happens. ...see attached image below Am I missing something simple? Cheers, Phillip
  12. It was a defective patch cable. It's always something simple...
  13. Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like I have a bad PLM. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  14. Good Evening (on the east coast at least...) Brand new ISY user here. I apologize if this has been covered but I was unable to find anything by searching. I just booted up my system for the first time and got the warning: "Your System is in Safe Model! This is normally caused when the system cannot communicate with the PLM. Please check the connections/wiring to the PLM and then reboot your system. If the problem persists, in all likelihood, the PMS is defective" So here are my questions: Do I need to do anything other than making the physical connection from the ISY (994) to the PLM (2413S)? If not, is there a way to troubleshoot the PLM? Many thanks in advance, Phillip
