  1. power plug is good. any ideas ?
  2. Hi, I have no lights on my ISY 994i. The power adapter has the LED that indicates that it is on, but the ISY shows no lights. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in , but no dice. Any ideas?
  3. Do I set it to Run (Then Path ) when I call it from the first program?
  4. Thanks Lee, I think that makes sense what do i put in the if statement of the second program?
  5. So the objective of this program is to turn on the foyer light when ever I walk near the motion sensor (zone6) and only when the alarm is armed (stay_mode). The problem I have is when I turn on the foyer light manually it will simply turn off after one minute, which I don't want it to do. Can anyone point me in the right direction? If $Zone6 is 1 And Program 'stay_mode' is True Then Set Scene 'Foyer' On Else Wait 1 minute Set Scene 'Foyer' Off
  6. Thanks for the info I have confirmed that the outlets are in a different circuit then the switchlinc one. Do the access points connect into the circuit I am trying to control? Would moving the PLM to a different outlet more central outlet in the house make a difference?
  7. Tried both methods, didn't work on the non-working outlet/circuit Don't have a phase coupler, but the same room in which I am trying to use this module there is a switch Linc that is dual band. Shouldnt that be able to relay the communication to this device? The PLM is on its own outlet in the basement that has nothing on it at the moment. I believe the bedroom does have an Arc Fault Breaker
  8. that actually was set to 3. In any case it seems to be a problem with the outlet, or that particular circuit I was trying to use it on. Its in my master bedroom which does have a switch linc in there as well, but for some reason the appliance linc does not work when plugged into the outlets there. could this be impacted by the location of the PLM in relation to the outlet I am trying to control? THe PLM is way downstairs in the basement. The appliance linc works on some outlets in the room, but not the very far ones for my lamp.
  9. TRying to and an appliance linc to my ISY and it doesn't seem to do anything when I go to link , here is the log Fri 03/29/2013 04:24:27 PM : [VAR 2 14 ] -1 Fri 03/29/2013 04:24:30 PM : Start Insteon Device Linking Mode Fri 03/29/2013 04:24:30 PM : [LNK-BGN ] 02 64 01 00 06 Fri 03/29/2013 04:24:50 PM : Stop Insteon Device Linking Mode, Final processing to follow Fri 03/29/2013 04:24:50 PM : ---- Start: Generate Scenes from links ---- Fri 03/29/2013 04:24:50 PM : [LNK-END ] 02 65 06 : : Unexpected, ignored (65) Fri 03/29/2013 04:24:50 PM : ---- End: Generate Scenes from links ---- Fri 03/29/2013 04:24:57 PM : [VAR 2 14 ] 1
  10. maybe someone can help me, I want the Foscam camera to be set to a different preset based on the time of the day using the ISY. How would I setup the Network resource for that ?
  11. Xathros, many thanks! its working as I wanted it too now.
  12. Yes, I did get notificatoins sucessfully so the mail portion is configured correctly. Would it notifiy if I used the on buttong on my mobilinc app on my phone or only a manual push of the physical switch? Maybe It doesn't work by turning it on from the app ?
  13. Xathros, Thank you , that was it! I hope to get the hang of this stuff soon. Kevman EDIT: While I am here, I thought I would post a basic notification program that doesn't seem to work, I just want to know when the backyard lights are turned on via email If Control 'Backyard' is switched On Then Send Notification to 'GMAIL' Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
  14. Hi All, Just got my ISY controller yesterday and installed a single Insteon switch for controlling my backyard floodlights. I setup a basic program below: If From 11:45:00PM To Sunrise (next day) And Status 'Backyard' is Off Then Set 'Backyard' On Else Set 'Backyard' Off My question is , is there a way to override this program if I were to manually turn on the light or via my mobilinc app. It seems that the light is solely controlled by the program and any manual action are simply reversed if it proves the program false. I would like to be able to control the lights manually if needed, for instance if I want to turn it on prior to 11:45pm to check something in the backyard. Thanks
