  1. I just upgraded from the ISY994i to the Eisy Home unit, and all went well. I'm now learning that I've lost the very simple GUI that the old ISY994i had, which my wife used periodically. The current interfaces expose way too much info that can get a non-technical person into trouble and mess up the system. Perhaps one of you guys could package up an App that does what the old ISY994i did and sell it to people who are not technical? I'm just a lowly hardware engineer with a limited amount of programming knowledge (firmware dev), so it's not something I could do... Just an idea.
  2. Hi guys. This happened to me 2 days ago, in the middle of the night, of course. It was indeed a false: For whatever reason a 2635-222 module turned on at 2:25am with no reason for the trigger: Leak Detector Wall Switch.1 O Status 100% Thu 2019/03/21 02:25:21 AM System Log Not sure why this happened as it worked fine for 1.5 weeks before falsing.
  3. Hi everyone, is there a way to configure an Insteon ISY994i to turn on all lights from a single button or command, leave them on for 15 minutes and then tell all the devices to resume their normal program mode (some are on and some are off depending on what time it is)? Thanks, Pat
  4. Benoit, my problem was from 07/07/18 and that was when I solved the issue. I simply got busy and forgot to reply until I saw ansersonl with the same issue. B/R, Pat
  5. Hi folks, sorry to take so long to get back to you. First of all - thank you Benoit, my problem was resolved with your guidance. All I ended up having to do was shut everything down (log out of the ISY), close to browser (log out of Amazon), reboot (power down/up) Alexa, clear the cache and start everything up again... and it worked just as it should have in the first place. I do think the issue was on the Amazon side and that logging out of the site, clearing the cache, etc did the trick. Regards, Pat
  6. Thank you for the quick reply and offer to look at what might be going wrong. The last time I tried and failed was today at ~ 2:00pm (Mountain time). It fails every time, so easy to reproduce.
  7. Hi team! I've been fighting with my Amazon Echo to get it to link with my ISY994i (running 4.6.2). I'm not new to either of these products and have had this similar configurations set up at a different location. When trying to set this up where I live now, I get the following reply (error?) from Alexa after trying to ENABLE the skill and log into the ISY portal The portal is set up correctly with the correct address of the ISY994i device. The Amazon account is also enabled in the ISY portal. I've run out of ideas, even bad ones to try. I also have not really found anyone encountering this same message either. I've only tried to link the two about 20x with no success. Help? Best regards, Pat
