  1. Panda88, auger66, et al., FYI: The YoLink - Smart Valve Controller 2 (manipulator) is now properly connected (and showing online with proper status) to the aforementioned eisy. Again, Panda88, many thanks for creating the YoLink Node Server! Also, auger66, thank you for your very informative and detailed reply. -- Hopefully YoLink will address what you've observed with a firmware update ... I will likely duplicate what you have indicated via my own programming / monitoring and provide my observed feedback to YoLink as well. Many thanks auger 66!
  2. Panda88, Great job on the YoLink Node Server! I've been using it with multiple sensor types and relays with great success. Recently, I added a YoLink - Smart Valve Controller 2 (with an EcoNet Controls Bulldog Valve Robot) which shows up as a node in the YoLink Node Server however, within eisy, the node / "YoLink Manipulator" Connection State shows it as "Offline" and also indicates "Nodeserver Status Not Connected". Based on the change log for the YoLink Node Server, I did read that manipulators appear to be supported however, I am at a loss as to why this particular node is not showing as connected between the eisy and the YoLink Node Server. I have stopped and started the YoLink Node Server as well as restarted the YoLink Node Server; I have also completely rebooted the eisy along with Polyglot 3X -- however, this node still shows as not connected between the eisy and the YoLink Node Server. As all the other YoLink nodes appear to be working properly, do you have any potential suggestions for me to get the YoLink - Smart Valve Controller 2 (manipulator) properly connected (and showing online with proper status) to eisy? Many thanks!
  3. ... another comment regarding this subject ... ... I also use Blue Iris Software to monitor all of my Security / Video Cameras ... I've used it for 10+ years ... and as well, all of my exterior cameras are PoE IP cameras (2K or higher) ... and most of them are nearly 10 years old ... they are Dahua (alhua) rebranded cameras and have thus far worked flawlessly. Additionally, if interested in using a Video DoorBell Camera with Blue Iris, I can confirm that ReoLink's current Video DoorBell Cameras support RTSP / Blue Iris as a full-time streaming camera source.
  4. Goose66, I think you've created a great Node Server! As such, I purchased your Bond Node Server earlier today and was looking for the same function as tlightne -- "Stop" for Blind Controls. However, for me, this would be for a Somy RTS Shade Controller instead of Allen + Roth Shades ... Also, thank you very much for your earlier posting indicating that you would be adding the "Stop" command for blinds into the next release of the Bond Node Server.
  5. FYI: Please add another INSTEON 2413S PLM failure (at around 2 1/2 years) to the list of failures. I also purchased replacement capacitors... In the meantime, I also contacted my Credit Card issuer for extended warranty protection benefits (YMMV depending on if you purchased with a Credit Card or not, Credit Card type used, Credit Card issuer's benefits / policies, etc.). In my case, I was reimbursed for the amount of purchase due to failure within the defined constraints of the extended warranty protection benefit. Although it's sometimes (and quite often) a bit of effort contacting Credit Card issuers, it may provide some of you with reimbursement of the purchase cost. I hope this helps out... Still... I really wish that UDI could obtain the necessary / required Smartlabs ICs (from Smartlabs) so that they could manufacture their own PLMs for us to be able to purchase...
  6. Hello. I have an opinion on INSTEON Thermostats although it's in reference to a different model than you asked about: I have used three INSTEON 2441V Thermostat Adapters (Revision 2.5) for Venstar Thermostats (http://www.smarthome.com/2441V/Thermost ... ble/p.aspx) for the past several weeks with connections to three Venstar T2900 7-Day Programmable Slimline Commercial Thermostats (http://www.smarthome.com/30457/Venstar- ... tat/p.aspx) which were previously installed about a year ago. I chose the Venstar T2900 Thermostats as they have built-in humidity sensors as well as complex multi-stage heating and cooling capabilities. Since I've installed the INSTEON 2441V Thermostat Adapters, I've created multiple programs to automatically change HVAC settings based on time of day periods, Elk Alarm Control Panel arming status as well as sensed motion (based on Elk Alarm Motion Sensor Zone Inputs). The best part of using this combination is that all units (INSTEON / ISY with Elk Module) have all been working very well and I haven't needed to reset them since their installation! Once again, kudos goes to the UDI Team for their efforts on developing a solid product! Brian
