1. That did it. Thanks @DennisC
2. My IoX Finder app can't seem to remember my devices. I can load a saved file and all is good but was wondering if I can put a path to a saved file in the startup command syntax to auto-load a saved file.
3. Hi. As the subject says, I need a 500 Series ISY 994i Z-Wave module if anyone has one they're not using. Please reply here or DM me regarding availability, price, etc. Thanks in advance, RLS
4. I've recorded an MP3 audio file I'd like to play on my Sonos speakers based on a trigger (motion sensor for instance). I've configured a Program Event in the ISY portal, have it working with IFTTT which calls a simple program that calls a Network Resourse. I know the networking is working as when I run the ELSE loop, I can see my Sonos speaker volume change (to 75% as you'll see below) but I can't figure out how to determine the queue ID or how to identify a Sonos Favorite. Any help would be much appreciated. Below is what's defined as the Network Resourse my program calls. POST /MediaRenderer/AVTransport/Control HTTP/1.1 Host: 192.168.1.215:1400 Connection: Close Content-Type: text/xml; charset="utf-8" Content-Length: 802 SOAPACTION: "urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:AVTransport:1#StartAutoplay" <s:Envelope s:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"> <s:Body> <u:StartAutoplay xmlns:u="urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:AVTransport:1"> <InstanceID>0</InstanceID> <ProgramURI>file:///jffs/settings/savedqueues.rsq#1</ProgramURI> <ProgramMetaData><DIDL-Lite xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:upup="urn:schemas-upnp.org:metadata-1-0/upnp/" xmlns:r="urn:schemas-rinconnetworks-com:metadata-1-0/" xmlns="urn:schemas-upnp-org:metadata-1-0/DIDL-Lite/"><itemid="SD:1" parentID="SD"</ProgramMetaData> <Volume>75</Volume> <IncludeLinkedZones>0</IncludeLinkedZones> <ResetVolumeAfter>1</ResetVolumeAfter> </u:StartAutoplay> </s:Body> </s:Envelope>
5. Thank you, that worked perfectly!
6. Hi, I have 2 ISY994i's, one in my primary home, and a second in a guest house. Both locations are serviced by the same LAN. I have the ISY Portal Access licenses for both ISY's. My Alexa app, via device discovery, correctly sees the devices associated to my Primary home ISY, but can't see the devices associated to the guest house ISY. I've been on the ISY Portal and have devices corretly added to the Amazon Echo Device List with the correct spoken words. Any ideas?
7. First, like others have said, this is AMAZING and incredibly valuable. As a devoted member of the Isy/Insteon/Sonos family, this makes the platform better, more useful and an incredibly valuable investment. Based on the excellent original instructions and subsequent posts, I had this all up and running in about 10 minutes. I recently moved to Western Colorado after building a new home in Stilwell, KS and living in it only 3.5 short years (yup, there's a story there). Regardless, when I built the Stilwell, KS house, I went Full-Insteon and had it tightly integrated into my Elk M1Gold security panel. After moving, I started to explore ideas of using my Isy994i as the basis of my DIY security system. Door and motion sensors tied into my lighting and sending email/txt messages going to all the right recipients. Insteon has a siren but you can't yet control it via the Isy994i, but I have Sonos integration now. So, I simply recorded a "You have violated my home security perimeter. The authorities have been contacted and surveillance video is now recording you..." audio file. I created a Sonos "Alarm" Playlist with that audio file, and EUREKA - I have a custom siren. Thanks for all the great work on this - Brilliant! RLS
