  1. OK. Used link from Michel's forum entry Posted June 29, 2018 and downloaded another version of start.jnlp It was stored as start(5).jnlp and the file downloaded 12 hours ago was start(4).jnlp Start(4) must not have been used to open the admin console because copy 5 has the UI matching as it should and the Programs tab error is gone. Now, having done a hard reset on the 994 the Query program has been wiped. How important is this program from a stability and housekeeping standpoint.
  2. Have just taken a 994iZW out of the box and set it up because the fabulous finder program can no longer find a working 99i. Tech support on the 99i problem was a waste of an afternoon. Have configured the new 994i and added a few programs. On entering the programs|details tab an error gets thrown- Not Implemented Programs summary tab has- Not Loaded and Out of Memory This is for all programs including the factory Query that runs at 3 am. A factory reset was done on the 994 and the SD card was removed and reinserted with not resulting change. Java was updated to 8.271 and the previous version uninstalled. 994 was updated to 5.3.0 Java cache has been attempted to be cleared for an hour with multiple swings and misses as the UI stays at 4.*.*
  3. The following is a shorter (very low patience) version of a reply attempted a few minutes ago. In checking the model name on one of the Smartenit devices too much time elapsed and the system logged me off. Forum here doesn't appear to have an autosave function so the earlier post was lost. We have been having similar problems here for 2 years now. The 8SA does not report the correct relay status. PLMs were changed from v 98 to v 9B on the 8SA and later the 8SAs were changed to the V2 model. There was no effective difference after the dance steps. No 8SA relays have changed state when not commanded by programs only the status is wrong. Lately on a separate bare bones 994i system, with only an EZIO4O connected, a programmed Notification is being sent out every day when the Query program runs. In this case relays have been changing state when not commanded and it's clear it's coming from execution of the query program. Packaging for the DIN rail mount version of the Insteon I/O module will make a mess of some of the control boards here when compared to the existing 8SAs but we are calling it quits on all of the Smartenit devices regardless of whether the bug is at their end or not.
  4. Currently a system is in place to protect a house on a forested mountainside. Using a 994i fire pumps can be activated with Mobilinc. A number of things take place when the wildfire program runs such as turning off HRVs and shedding load to allow power from a backup generator to run two 5HP pumps. There are 4 Rainbird agritcultural heads with about 100 ft radius to wet down the area. Smartphone enabled cameras are part of the system so in a perfect world you conceivably could start the system at the proper time and walk the tightrope of not being late or not using up all the available water too early. Run time is between 45-60 minutes. Automating the program using a Zigbee mesh network seems an obvious solution on paper. A perimeter of temperature or smoke/temperature sensors designed for outdoor use would work. After a brief search I'm not finding any sensors that fit the description. Web postings dated as far back as 2008 on the subject of Zigbee and wildfire detection have been found but no suitable hardware.
