    ISY Programing

I have a Insteon scene that includes three keypads (two 2334-2 8 button keypad dimmers and one 2487s keypad relay) controling my garage ceiling lights. My ISY programing problem is I added a motion sensor 2842-222 to turn the lights off. No problem turning the lights off. However, the individual buttond on the two 8 button keypays do not stay synced. How do I keep all buttond within the scean in sync. The ISY programing THEN command does not allow me to change the state of the buttons on the 8 button keypads. It only allows me to adjust the backlighting.

    ISY program

LeeG, thanks for the help. Your suggestion of looking at the program summary tab answered the question. The program is running every other night. As you were thinking the program must be getting confused by "sunset" and "same day". I will change from sunset to sunrise and I believe all will be well. I am sure that your suggestion of looking at the program summary tab was very basic to you. To me it was very helpful because I am still learning the basics.

Thank for the help. This program ran again last night as expected. Additionally, I have several other similar program that have been reliable. The two nights recently where this program did not run I know from observation that it did not run.

    Error Log Question

Hi LeeG, After a bit of hunting around inside the router I found the DHCP Client Table. Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction. As it turns out the offender is my Asus Netbook. The really important thing is I learned something. Thanks!

    ISY program

Hi LeeG and thanks for the help. I did not get back to you sooner because the program worked the next night and also the following night. However, the program did not run last night. And again nothing in the Event or Error log. If From Sunset + 8 hours To Sunset + 9 hours and 43 minutes (same day) Then Set Scene 'Night Lights / Bedroom Nite Lights' On Else Set Scene 'Night Lights / Bedroom Nite Lights' Off

    Error Log Question

Thanks for reply Michel! Your info helped a lot, I am learning, but I still have not been able to determine where the requests are coming from. I know enough to know that IP address 192.168.1.xxx is my local router. I can not determine which devise is 133. At this point I am just curious.

    ISY program

I have a program that turns a light on & off at night based on sunset..on at sunset - 6 minutes and off at sunset + 1 hour and 54 minutes. Last night the light was turned on at the proper time but never turned off. Looking at the event log I see.. Error Log Question

Hi Michel, Thanks for the reply. Sorry but I still do not understand these messages: Fri 2013/10/04 01:00:54 System -170001 [HTTP] 192.168.1.133:59177->80 Fri 2013/10/04 02:01:02 System -170001 [HTTP] 192.168.1.133:59218->80 Fri 2013/10/04 03:01:10 System -170001 [HTTP] 192.168.1.133:59256->80 They came from the error log and I do not see a corresponding message in the event log looking at level 3. If they are informational messages what information are they trying to convey?
  12. Can someone help me. I am trying to understand the ISY Error Log. I can not find error code 170001 in the user guide. The User Guide does list Error code "-170000 WEB_MODULE_NO_FREE_SPACE" but what is error code 170001. My Error log is mostly making up of this error. Example of the log entry: Fri 2013/10/04 01:00:54 System -170001 [HTTP] 192.168.1.133:59177->80 Fri 2013/10/04 02:01:02 System -170001 [HTTP] 192.168.1.133:59218->80 Fri 2013/10/04 03:01:10 System -170001 [HTTP] 192.168.1.133:59256->80 Thanks for the help.
  13. i tried this and for some reason it did not work but I am new to ISY programming so maybe I has somthing set wrong. I'll try again
  14. This is not helpful. I searched the forum before posting and found nothing. Please point the way.
  15. I just installed a new Garage door kit from Smarthome. When the garage door is closed the IOlinc's NC sensor reports ON to the ISY and turns a responding Keypad button on. I want the keypad button to be off when the door is closed and on when the door is open. I tried writing a simple ISY program to do this but was unsuccessful. Does anyone have an idea how I can do this using the NC magnetic switch.
