  1. Thanks for the quick reply. I'm not seeing a "Forget" option in the Alexa app. I tried disabling the skill and then re-enabling it. That got things synchronized, so I'm good, but I still would like to clean things up. I have a bunch of old "devices" from prior configurations still listed at the bottom of the devices list under "disabled devices."
  2. I have scenes and devices showing in my ISY Portal. Two weeks ago, I synchronized my Echo with my IS Portal and tested a verbal command (successfully). This weekend, I was unable to replicate. I tried using the same command. I also created a few more verbal commands for scenes and devices. I have not been able to get the Echo to discover any devices or scenes this go around. I also tried using the "detect my devices" verbal command from the device and "detect" action from the Alexa app on my Android phone. I am currently using "ISY Optimized for Smart Home V3" skill. Should I be doing something different?

I tried moving my ISY closer to the light switches, but that did not help. Literally, 10 feet away from ISY. Does anyone have any suggestions? For now, I have the 2477D & 2477S connected as a three-way switch. Eventually, I would like to use the 2477D somewhere else and put the 2nd 2477S where I had intended. Thanks for your help! Bill
  4. I have two ISYs. Each has a unique DDNS host name. I'm looking for any solution to my issue, so please feel free to answer any question I haven't asked. Before Firefox 52, I used to open the admin console by selecting from http://hostname1.dyndns.org/admin and http://hostname2.dyndns.org/admin. Now, I get a Java 2+ required. No longer do I get an "Allow" option to run it. So! I've started opening the admin.jnlp webstart, which asks me to give it a URL for the ISY. I did this for hostname1.dyndns.org and it works great. The problem is I don't know how to get admin.jnlp to point to hostname2.dyndns.org. Java seems to default to hostname1 automatically now. I tried removing temp files from java config, but that didn't do it. So, all I want to do is get into both admin consoles. Any solution will do at this point. Help?! Thanks Bill

Yes. I had the "ISY Optimized for Smart Home V2" skill set up. I just figured it out. I did not have a "spoken" names set up on a different tab. I have that set now and things are working. Also, I noticed that my user was still set with an ISY ID that no longer exists in the system. So, I copy/pasted the correct on into place there. That must have been the first part of my issue.

Ok, I feel like an idiot on this one. I feel like I should be able to figure this out. I have purchased the ISY Portal. Added my UUID for the ISY I'm interested in controlling. Then I went into the Echo section of ISY Portal and found a lamplinc I wanted to connect for my initial test. I found it and called it "living room light." Then I hit the Refresh button on the portal page. From the Echo app, I've enabled the ISY app and done my discovery. The only thing on my list are the Nests I have enabled via the Nest app. Any suggestions? What am I missing? Thanks!
  7. Thanks Michel. Here's the working request information... GET /cgi-bin/admin/setvi.cgi?vi0=1 HTTP/1.1 Host: 192.168.1.42:8042 User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 Connection: Close Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded Authorization Basic asdfasdfasdf1234asdf
  8. Hi Michel. Sorry. I wasn't available when you reached out. My email on your forum is very old and I don't recall my password. Thankfully Google remembers my password for me, so I can log in. But I do not have the ability to get forum notifications sent to my real email unless you help me change my profile behind the scenes. Do you have time tonight? Bill
  9. /cgi-bin/admin/setvi?vi0=1 and /cgi-bin/admin/setvi?vi0=0 Thanks
  10. Thanks. I do appreciate you looking. I'm a lot farther along after using this forum.
  11. I disabled all cookies and tested from both IE and "inprivate browsing." It worked in both. Any other thoughts? Thanks, Bill
  12. Thanks for you trying to help me with this. I removed the Cookie entry, but it still gives me the same error message. Bill
  13. Good eye. /cgi-bin/admin/setvi?vi0=1 That's what I have in the request. I copy/pasted what MWareman had in his post without checking its accuracy. I have tried with and without the encode URL checked. Both gave me a Rule 2:404 message.
  14. Thanks Lee. That's what I have already done. The table I copy/pasted from Firebug didn't stick. I'll try to reformat to make it easier for people to read.
  15. Here's the firebug output I capture when I initiate the manual trigger using the webcam webpage. I added all this to my Network Resources entry and still get a 404. Accept text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8 Accept-Encoding gzip, deflate Accept-Language en-US,en;q=0.5 Authorization Basic asdfasdfasdf1234asdf Connection keep-alive Cookie activatedmode=digital; viewsizemode=100; 4x3=false Host 192.168.1.42:8042 If-Modified-Since 0 Referer http://192.168.1.42:8042/ User-Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0
  16. Ha. I thought about that after I did it. But it is a temporary userid, password. Also, it would require you find my house and log into my wifi. I'm banking on that being a little difficult to accomplish before I delete the temp UID.
  17. It doesn't actually return anything in the browser window. It ends up flipping a switch on a webcam that manually triggers an event. The event sends me an email every minute until I send http://username:password@192.168.1.42:8042/cgi-bin/admin/set?vi0=0. The webcam webpage shows a change successfully as well. When I use the ISY994 to do the http://username:password@192.168.1.42:8042/cgi-bin/admin/set?vi0=1, I get no emails and the webcam webpage does not show the switch has been flipped. Thanks, Bill
  18. Hello. I am trying to utilize my Network Module for my ISY994i PRO for the first time. I am using Firmware 4.2.4 right now. The cgi I want to call requires a user name and password. I have no idea if I have everything correct, but testing it does not work. The test returns a 404 error (Network Module Rule 2:404). + I am using the HTTP GET {hostname} {port} /cgi-bin/admin/setvi?vi0=1 + I created an authorization entry to store the user name and password I am very new to this. Anyone have any helpful advice? Thanks, Bill
