loX Finder : Not Found and ISY Offline
Further research shows the only light displaying on my isy is the power light. A chech of the of the power supply showed a broken housing. Anyone know where I can get a replacement, including the cable and plug and what I need to ask for. Quick delivery such as Amazon would enable me to get the repair done while we are at tthis location. Thanks.

loX Finder : Not Found and ISY Offline
Sorry, but I am essentially computer illiterate at 80+ years of age. One would think this would be an easy fix. I tried to research the subject of accessing my router and found two addresses that were supposed to permit me to access my bundled router but no soap. I hate to consider abandoning this site but weeks of work have produced almost nothing.

loX Finder : Not Found and ISY Offline
In August of this year I had an apparent power surge that took out my modem, router and the Insteon Serial Modem (2413S). This is a vacation home. I have replaced the modem and router provided by Optimum, my ISP. I have now installed a new 2413S. The alias for this location and its UUID appear in the Launcher but clicking on the URL results in the message loX Finder : Not Found. Neither the URL or the UUID appear for the primary residence, Chesapeake. According to the instructions I have, my next step for Wolf Creek is to log into the Admin Console and select the option to Restore Modem. That is where I am now. I cannot log into the Admin Console because I have no URL Help will be appreciated otherwise I am ging to have to abandon Wolf Creek. I must leave this location in a few days. I have spent days and days on this and problems at Chesapeake. I consider your expert help vital. Thanks. Mac Sequoia All Insteon Devices Firmware 4.9

Massive Problems
Massive Problems I have two residences: Chesapeake (primary) and Wolf Creek (vacation) The ISYs at both ran well until a power outage at Wolf Creek and a loss of the internet (Optimum) lasted several days. Thereafter, neither the Chesapeake nor Wolf Creek URLs appeared in the Launcher. I visited Wolf Creek and Optimum replaced the router and modem. The ISY there displayed only the solid blue power light. I tried plugging and unplugging it to the modem/router and turning its power on and off. I then tried turning on/off the power to the PLM. Finally, I tried resetting the PLM and it never buzzed. I got a white light on its side, but I was left concluding it too was dead. I am currently trying to get a new one from Insteon (mid October availability). I was able to get my Wyze cameras and Amazon hubs running again at Wolf Creek but the ISY can only be controlled at the switch level and is inaccessible using the Launcher. What is bizarre about all this is that when I returned to Chesapeake I could only control at the switch level. These two locations are on separate ISY’s and PLMs. I was able to successfully reset the Chesapeake PLM (it buzzed) and Alexa spokens are working (made the wife happy) but some programs are running and others are not with no apparent reason. In the Launcher, I currently get a URL and UUID and URL for Wolf Creek. Nothing displays for Chesapeake. I can only access Wolf Creek in the Launcher by pasting in a saved IP and password. I am beginning to believe something is wrong with the Launcher that is indicative of a serious communications issue/core problem. I am 80 years old and this is “out of my league”. I desperately need your help. MacBook Pro Sequoia Cache Emptied Chesapeake Internet (Cox)

New Network/ISY
I have two networks, Chesapeake and Wolf Creek. Recently, the modem and router failed simultaneously at Wolf Creek. They have since been replaced with a new modem/router combination (Optimum). My ISY 994i at Wolf Creek is no longer is accessible in the Launcher. I have rebooted the Alexa Hubs and they are displaying the infamous spinning yellow ring. I have empti3ed the JAVA cache. The ISY URL does not work. I am 80 years old and this stuff has become very challenging. I desperately need patient, knowledgeable help in getting my ISY online in the new network. I will need further help, but first things first. Thanks.

I might be finished with UD...
I have been a UDI champion and an Insteon champion for many years. I have two ISY 994 based homes and they have functioned near flawlessly. I have no need for change! Plus, I am near 80 years old and change is becoming more difficult. I feel I am being pushed where I do not want to go. If its money, charge me for support but please do not strand me.

Problem with Spokens
Geddy, forgive me for not replying until now. I agree with you that I most likely have a profile issue with Alexa, and I don't know how to resolve it. What would happen if deleted the Alexa app from my Mac and downloaded a new one? Would that new app reload correctly from the portal/ or should I invest in a call to Alexa? Or, finally, should I submit a ticket even though I have two ISYs using the rationale that the Portal has failed.

Problem with Spokens
Yes, and everytging else I have found. Ever since I first set up an account with two ISYs and profiles I have had problems. So bad that I have avoided accessing the Wolf Creek profile anjd it worked well until I added two new KPLs. I have become convinced that I need to set up separate accounts for each ISY. Now, I just have to figure out how to do that. : (

Problem with Spokens
When I try to use a spoken at Wolf Creek I get the message “Skill is not enabled”. I enabled the skill: “Isy optimized for smart home V3”. I am told the account is not linked. When I try to link the account, I am told the account is linked. I have a fundamental problem somewhere in account linking. Is the answer to create sub accounts, one for each ISY?

Alexa Spokens - Two Accounts
Years ago I set up two Alexa accounts, Wolf Creek and Chesapeake. Switching between accounts caused such problems that Universal Devices had to remote in to get things working. Both accounts worked perfectly until, years later, a KPL failed at Wolf Creek. I replaced that KPL and added another. Set up was challenging for this old man but both are now working. However, Alexa spokens are no longer working at Wolf Creek. I have checked the Portal and all appears correct. Also, I can control Wolf Creek devices using the Launcher. I am getting this message from Alexa when I use a spoken—Alexa skill is not enabled. I have disabled the skill and re-enabled it and got the same message. Wolf Creek spokens still do not work and I get the same message. It appears I may need to Forget and Discover devices, but I do not want to mess up Chesapeake in the process! Can I do that by selecting Wolf Creek as my preferred ISY in the Portal? I have spent many, many hours on this so I desperately need help. IOS 17.6.1 IOS Optimized for Smart Home V3

Problem with Spokens
Thanks for the help but problem persists. When I use the Portal to prepare the spokens all seems to go well. But, when I use a spoken I get an audible message from Alexa that the spoken is not in that user profile. So, it is obvious there is something wrong in the linkage between the Portal and Aleza. It looks to me like I am going to have to submit a ticket.
