I have lost the ability to run the administrative console using any Mac or Windows7 browser. On Mac OS 10.6 the Java console gives the following message: load: class com.universaldevices.client.ui.UDClientApplet.class not found. java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.universaldevices.client.ui.UDClientApplet.class at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.findClass(AppletClassLoader.java:211) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:307) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadClass(AppletClassLoader.java:144) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:248) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadCode(AppletClassLoader.java:662) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.createApplet(AppletPanel.java:785) at sun.plugin.AppletViewer.createApplet(AppletViewer.java:2354) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.runLoader(AppletPanel.java:714) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(AppletPanel.java:368) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:680) When I'm local, there's no problem at all. What do I do here. Sorry if this has been addressed endlessly--- I can't find the answer in the forums. Richard

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Yes, I can access the ISY99i by entering the local URL without any port. It is not the usual -- first a kind of database comes up, then, when clicking console, the "Leave this widow open" screen, then the console after another password log on. So I guess this works. What URL/port etc would I enter from an outside computer to gain access? Thanks Richard

After updating successfully to the latest firmware from the U-D website, the port designation disappeared. I can log onto the console only by entering www.universal-devices.com/99i. Clicking on about shows the outside URL and the local URL but no port number. I can enable internet access and have tried to forward the port to 443 thru the router but this is of no help. Any thoughts? Thanks, Richard
