SCORE! LeeG, you actually did fix me up. After a few minutes it started working correctly after changing, "status," to, "control." Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Here's the program: If Status 'Motion Dector / Lower Back Patio Motion / Lower Back Motion-Sensor' is On Then Set 'Stairways / Upstairs Upper' On Wait 1 minute Set 'Stairways / Upstairs Upper' Off Else Set 'Stairways / Upstairs Upper' Off I just tried this: If Control 'Motion Dector / Lower Back Patio Motion / Lower Back Motion-Sensor' is switched On Then Set 'Stairways / Upstairs Upper' On Wait 1 minute Set 'Stairways / Upstairs Upper' Off Else Set 'Stairways / Upstairs Upper' Off Still nothing. Also, the, "On Only Mode," check box is checked which says, "On/Off Commands." This is just a test routine so that I can see the lights coming on and off. Right now, motion does nothing with this program (the lights don't come on or go off). I'll look in to diagnostics. Thanks.

I'm still trying to get the Insteon Motion controllers working with my lighting. I have a test program to turn on a light: If Motion detector sensor is on Then turn on upstairs light Then wait 1 minute Then turn off upstairs light Else turn off upstairs light This doesn't work. Motion detector goes shows sensor on, no lights come on. Question: Do I still need to make this a controller outside of the program or should the program just manage both devices? Also, when making the program and saving, it doesn't ask me to put the motion detector in to set mode so it's not programming anything on the device. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I tried to log in to my ISY 994i this morning and it won't accept my credentials any longer. The device is up and working (as I can get in to the non-admin section). Admin login fails. I have rebooted and tried again, still fails. I'm 100% confident that I'm using the correct username and password as I have never changed them. How do I restore this or get past the log in screen? Please let me know. Thanks!

I'm trying to get my motion detector working but the thing isn't working as expected. Here's what I want it to do: Come on from dusk till dawn. If motion, turn lights on, when no motion for 3 minutes, turn lights back off. Motion detector settings: Timeout = 3 minutes Checkbox Enabled = Both On and Off Checkbox Enabled = As Motion Occurs Scene Settings: Dusk.Dawn as controller Porch light as responder Behavior: Light comes on at dusk, never shuts back off. Anyone know how to get this to working? Thanks!

Ah, I didn't see that there was a, "Next Day," option. I updated the program and see if it works tonight. Thanks!

The actual code is just like I mentioned: If From 5:00:00PM To 8:00:00AM (same day) Then Set 'Outdoors / Outdoor Module 1' On Else Set 'Outdoors / Outdoor Module 1' off That's the entire program. Also, the light does work from the ISY (manually turning it on and off). Thanks!

For some reason I can't get programming for my front porch to work. I have basically an if statement that says, "if time is between 5:00pm and 8:00am", and "outdoor module is off," turn it on. Else, turn it off. It shows running, light is always on (program never shuts it off). Any ideas on how to make something basic like this work? Thanks!

So the auto discovery wouldn't work, however, I did manually add it and it showed up. Thanks again for the help!

I'm using the 994i. These are brand new so I thought they would work. I'll look in to updating the firmware on the actual motion detector. Thanks!

Hi all, I assumed that the ISY supported anything and everything Insteon however, I am unable to get the ISY to see my wireless motion detectors. My questions are: Are these supported? Where do I see the supported device list? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Hi all, I just bought and set up my ISY994i. It's pretty cool but because I'm putting in lots of devices, the scene section is getting crowded. I want to know from those of you out there, do you only do scenes for major functions and then program your Insteon devices directly? For example: I have a 3-way hallway light. I have to create two scenes, one for the close switch to turn the lights on and off, and to control the other switch so it is on or off accordingly. Then I have to do a new scene for the far switch, so that it controls the close switch and they stay in sync (both off or both on when the light is off or on). So my question from above, should I just program the two switches directly (outside of ISY) to be a responder and controller for each function. Then use the ISY for say a coming home Scene where that light can come on along with the living room, etc..? I was hoping to use the ISY for everything, but it's getting cluttered with scenes, and unfortunately you can't customize the GUI to only have a page of your main stuff. Thanks for any help!
