Here is a helpful solution that I set up for my newer type chamberlain MyQ overhead garage door opener. The way I understand is the I/O Linc is analog and the MyQ opener is digital so basically that’s why you can’t open your door connecting your Insteon device & UD Mobile / Geofence. The attached photos will explain everything. Keep in mind you could run a long speaker wire to mount the wireless remote near the back door of your garage or any extended area from the Insteon Device. I hope this helps everyone…!

My UD Mobile app's & occupancy v2.0 (Mobile Devices) handles the opening and closing other then the below (Disabled) program it requires in the UDmobile Help documents. I do have cameras in the garage and outside to keep an eye out on a miss fire. Been doing this garage door since 2013 with my old ISY944i but never got the two phone problem going. Lot of this is to advanced for me but I try things without me knowing what I'm doing. and just to let you know for years I used Mobilinc Pro mobilinc Connect so I'm very new to UD Mobile. Yes one 16’ garage door. Yes if the door is open it will close no matter what when a phone enters the area. If it’s closed it will open. These screen shot are the only thing I have setup other then the UD mobile geofence’s on each phone. So really I think I have 2 separate problems. 1) 2 phones enter GEO in same the same car one opens & the other stops the door that is in motion from the first one triggering it to open. 2) either phone entering GEO triggers door so if closed it opens and if open it closes and doesn’t leave door open. We manually close the door when leaving home do no exit GEO.

I have an Insteon Overhead Garage Door Kit. Magnet/IOLinc 2450 with EISY & two iPhones/UDmobile each with Geofence occupancy setup. Each iphone opens overhead door when returning home entering geofence (TRUE) separately. My problem is when both iPhones are together in one car returning home one iphone opens the door and the other iphone stops the door since the door is not closed and in motion up. Also if I leave the overhead door open, drive around the block and return home the one iPhone closes the door and doesn’t leave it open? I can’t figure out what to do… Thanks in advance Mark

That did fix the errors. No errors now. I haven't had time but in the next day or so I will test around with it. Thanks again

That is the Hallway-Sensor. Here is both updated to v.4.3.26 below. I just don't know if it is correct to have both of the 3-way switcheLINC's in the this ISY program or just the primary wired switch or just the secondary switch ( RED Load wire is capped off ). One time last night the motion sensor wouldn't trigger the lights on until i pressed the off on the secondary switchlinc. However it does seem that the response time is like 1 1/2 seconds instead of 3 seconds turning on the light now. I will have to continue to test this setup.. Greetings, I have “3-way” (2477D Insteon Dimmer) switches in my hallway that are cross linked and work well with two Cree LED’s in the ceiling light fixture. Below, are the programs i’m using for my Insteon Motion Sensor 2842-222 ( With Jumper #5 - as motion is sensed [X] - LED [X] ) Rev.2.6. So far it last night it seems to function ok. One issue is that it takes like 3 seconds to respond. That from the flash of the red sensor light until the light turns on. I think too it is necessary to manually turn on or turn off BOTH switches or the program can’t continue to function… (I’m not sure how 3-way wired instead switches with my ISY994i v4.0.5 — .v4.3.26) …while the lights on? My PLM on my ISY994i burned out and I got it replaced with SmartHome (Thanks!). I plugged in this new 2413s Powerlinc on my 994i ISY and I can't get any of my Insteon devices to function with my MobiLinc Pro or with my JAVA Admin Console. They both show all my devises but will not allow me to control them threw their interfaces. I get a error box "Failed Communication With" ...Cannot communicate with... in my UD Admin Console I'm not sure how to get these all connected again with this new PLM. Thanks!

I did get my program(s) working to get my front yard lights to operate how I want them too. I also utilized this on my back yard lights along with a "DelayLights" thanks to Xathros back when. They turn on with sensed motion for 30+ sec and I also have this with "10 mins on" with a single tap of the rocker switch and "1 hour on" with a double tap fast-on. It's not all 100% test for every possibility yet and I'm sure my code isn't the cleanest in town (might even make the ISY start smoking ) but i have learned a lot from everyone that has commented here and thanks again all. I have three question about the 2842-222 Motion Sensor using CORRECTLY with my ISY 994i. 1. Should jumper #5 be on both pins? ( I don't know why my ISY AdminConsole shows one MS current state ON and another of my five MS's toggles itself back to current state OFF? They are all UNLINKED as controllers and Factory Reset. ) 2. Should Jumper #4 be installed on both pins for On/Only? (They are [On/Off Commands] "UNCHECKED" holding their set buttons for 5 sec blinking with the ISY popup window.) 3. Can I run a full report with my ISY to list and devise that is linked as a controller?

Just to let you know I did unlink both MS and did a factory reset on both then re-configured them to ON only. You'll notice that I changed to a family room light so it's easier for me to watch. I also went through all my ISY programs and deleted any thing i had create that used any of these devises to clean house. Thanks

What I have is turning on either or both switches on, changes $Manual.Lights to a #1 and turning either switch off sets it back to #0. I now have my MS to set On Only commands and UNLINKED. When I wave my hand in front of it changes $Manual.Lights to a #1 and stays there. If I turn a switch on and back off it will change $Manual.Lights back to a #0. Yes, the lights stay on forever turning them on physically but now the MS just turns them off while they are on and will not turn them on with motion.

What i'm referring to is LINKING two Insteon Devises by holding the set button in 5 sec then the RED lite is blinking. then you can pair a responder (holding it's set button) to it making it a "CONTROLLER". This does not create a SCENE in my UD Administrative Console or in my Moblinc App. I have to go to my ISY and create a SCENE. I do realize that creating a SCENE in my ISY gives me the option to link the devises. So is LINKING a SCENE? I will add in the "(" ")" and unlink the MS to try this. Thanks!

Sorry to say but some how I deleted/lost my programs that kept my lights on even if the motion sensors (30Sec.on/off command) got triggered. So below I recreated the programs but so far when motion is sensed by a one of the MS it still runs its 30 sec. timer, then shuts off the lights when they should be staying on since I"m manually turn the lights on with the physical light switches. Currently when I physically turn on the light switches the lights do stay on forever. however soon as the MS senses motion with the lights on the lights do turn back off in 30 secs. There are NO Scenes with any of the Insteon devise here. Each MS are "controllers" to both light switches. I do want the lights to stay on forever when I physically turn on the light switches regardless if motion is sensed. Yet on the other hand when the lights are off and motion is sensed/triggered the light will turn on then shut off with the 30 sec. timeout.
