  1. Will try. Can't update the Mac.
  2. This iox launcher requires Mac ios 11.11 or later. I'm stuck @ 10.15.07. Is there a way to get the earlier version of iox that will work with this MacOS?
  3. Firmware 5.3.0 UI 4.9.0 After 5 blissful years with no problems at previous home, we moved and although I can see all my devices, I cannot make changes to their previous scene and program setups. They still run the timings from the setups at our previous home. Do I need to delete and reinstall each device? each scene? each program? Is one or all of those the first step?
  4. Thanks Mike. I got rid of my x-10 stuff a few years ago. I'd forgotten that this booster was intended for x10 and thought it would help in my insteon setup. Thanks for putting me straight.
  5. Thanks for the link to the troubleshooting tips. Hopefully, that helped me make a fix. I installed an access point in an outlet about 12 feet from the switch and the breaker box. I installed a 4827 boosterlinc about 6 feet in the other direction from the switch. Then I used a lamplinc as a phase bridge to the 2443 access point. Everything seems to be working when I send on and off signals manually from the admin console. We'll see if it still works when the program runs. BTW, per your questions, it is a 3 wire 2466S non-dimming switch feeding a mixed load: 2 incandescent garage outdoor lights and 2 LED spotlights on the same circuit. Thanks again. I'll come back if it's still not functioning.
  6. An insteon on/off toggle switch will not react to an "on" signal from ISY, but if I manually turn the switch/lights on, it will receive and react to an "off" command. Any suggestions on how to fix this anomaly, or what is causing it? It does share a 4 gang box with another on/off toggle switch (which functions perfectly).
  7. Even simpler Paul - skip isy altogether. No need to add controller or responder there. Simply put IO sensor into linking mode; go to toggle switch; set the light to the correct state for the position of the door; press toggle set button for 3 seconds; done and home! But thanks....it was your suggestion that got me thinking "simple".
  8. Why I'll never be good at programming. Always looking for the hard way to do something. No luck though adding sensor. (2843-222) . Keep getting the dreaded "cannot determine insteon engine" error
  9. I want to use the garage door sensor part of the 74551 garage door control & sensor kit to turn on the overhead garage (fluorescent) lights. I have an insteon 2466sw toggle link switch as the wall switch for the lights. How can I get the sensor to signal the wall switch to turn the lights on when the door goes up, and off when the door closes ? I don't really care about the 74551 module doing anything else. Thanks in advance for any advice.
  10. I've had this program running well for over 2 years, and just recently it started to have problems after multiple power failures within a 2 hour period. 3 out of 4 sensors now give a "3" report twice a day (heartbeat check program not running). I can manually reset those 3 to a 1 notification by running "then" via the admin console summary window in each sensor's "variable control 2" . This brings the notification on all three back to a "1".....but a few hours later (NOT at 6 pm or 9am) all three of those sensors revert to a 3 notification. Somehow this all seems to stem from the recycling of the ISY during the 2 power failures, but I am stumped and lost as to how to get the program running correctly again. Would appreciate any help or advice.

  12. Program has worked perfectly for the best part of 2 years, so I doubt it suddenly went off the rails all by itself. But you're right....it's also unlikely the 4 sensors lost their heartbeat all at once. I suspect some kind of hiccup with the ISY.
  13. Yes - I am using the program by Belias that you linked in previous message. No power toggle on the ISY.
  14. At 2:22 to day all 4 of my insteon leak sensors sent me a "missing heartbeat" email. What could possibly cause this to happen? Here's the error log for today: Fri 2017/09/22 01:22:14 AM System -100 [DHCP] state=RENEW Fri 2017/09/22 09:00:04 AM System -50001 -6 Fri 2017/09/22 01:22:23 PM System -100 [DHCP] state=RENEW Fri 2017/09/22 01:57:54 PM System -170001 [TCP-Conn] -1/-140002, Portal-Dispatch Don't know what any of this means or how it might have cause the problem with the leak sensors.
  15. Fingers crossed, I may have found a fix. Changed from two word scene spoken name, living room, to single word scene spoken name - lights. Now both on and off commands seem to work OK. When in doubt, try to go with single word names for your devices and scenes.
