I created a scene and wrote a program to have a ceiling light that is connected to a virtual 3-way switch be a night light (Scene On Level = 8%). I tried wrote the program to be able to override the night light and enable a 100% level when either the KPL or dimmer is turned on. Then, it will revert back to the night light scene (8%) when either the KPL or dimmer is turned off. It appears to be functioning properly, except for a small issue that annoys me. If I single tap the slave dimmer on, the light will go to 100%. Then I single tap the dimmer off, the night light will revert back to the 8%. The KPL is another story. I need to double tap the main button twice to turn the light off, one tap to turn the ceiling light on, then one tap to turn the 8% scene back on. The need to double tap the KPL twice to turn the light off first is annoying. Can I setup the program differently to act more like the slave dimmer?
Below is the program that I wrote -
If
From Sunset
To Sunrise (next day)
Or (
(
Control 'BH8.1-Back Hallway Ceiling Li' is switched Off
Or Control 'Back Hallway Dimmer Switch' is switched Off
)
And (
From Sunset
To Sunrise (next day)
)
)
Then
Set Scene 'Night Light - Back Hallway' On
In Scene 'Night Light - Back Hallway' Set 'BH8.1-Back Hallway Ceiling Li' 8% (On Level)
In Scene 'Night Light - Back Hallway' Set 'Back Hallway Dimmer Switch' 8% (On Level)
In Scene 'BH8.1-Back Hallway Ceiling Li' Set 'Back Hallway Dimmer Switch' 100% (On Level)
In Scene 'Back Hallway Dimmer Switch' Set 'BH8.1-Back Hallway Ceiling Li' 100% (On Level)
In Scene 'BH8.1-Back Hallway Ceiling Li' Set 'BH8.1-Back Hallway Ceiling Li' 100% (On Level)
Else
Set Scene 'Night Light - Back Hallway' Off
In Scene 'BH8.1-Back Hallway Ceiling Li' Set 'Back Hallway Dimmer Switch' 100% (On Level)
In Scene 'Back Hallway Dimmer Switch' Set 'BH8.1-Back Hallway Ceiling Li' 100% (On Level)
In Scene 'BH8.1-Back Hallway Ceiling Li' Set 'BH8.1-Back Hallway Ceiling Li' 100% (On Level)
