ISY 994 and HUB / or PLM and v220
Hi, The inverter did not arrive yet, I will update when it does. If you have 220v 60hz electricity voltage in your home then you can try converting it to 110v with a simple voltage converter, it won't change the electrical frequency. Then you will have 110v 60hz and you be able to try the PLM.

ISY 994 and HUB / or PLM and v220
Hi, I just bought 110v, 60Hz inverter from ebay. The inverter takes 12V DC as input and output 110v 60Hz. I have 220v to 12V DC converter in my house. When the inverter will arrive I will try to connect it and will try my Insteon Smoke Bridge (This one is like the PLM, it works only via 110v 60Hz - I tried connecting it using 220V to 110V and it didn't work cause the frequency is 50Hz on the output) - If it will work with the smoke bridge then I think it will work with the PLM - I will update. Thanks.

ISY 994 and HUB / or PLM and v220
Thanks for the answer. I understand that the PLM can send commands using the power cables and via wireless com. If I am using the 220v to 110v adapter - will the PLM succeed sending commands wirelessly? I think it will be enough for my home. Thanks.

ISY 994 and HUB / or PLM and v220
Hello, I am also from Israel. I am using the insteon hub. Thinking to move to the ISY994i. About the 60Hz problem, won't this solve the problem? http://img.dxcdn.com/productimages/sku_14322_1.jpg Also, can some one explain to me the diffrence between the ISY994i and the ISY99? Thanks.

Moving from Insteon hub to ISY 994i
Hello, I am using the Insteon hub with 4 micro on/off modules (2443-222), wireless open/close sensor (2843-222),mini remote 4 scene (2342-232) and smoke bridge (2982-222). I am thinking to move to the ISY994i because I understand that with the ISY994i I can make scene and events with conditions and trigers (similar to house-link software). 2 questions: 1. If I buy the ISY994i with Insteon serial plm, will I be able to use my exiting modules (that I mention above)? 2. Will I be able to change the micro modules setting from the software - because the modules are installed behind the ceiling lamps, I can't reach them - can I change the modules settings, like switch type connected (latch, 3-way latch, single momenteay) from the software? otherwise I will need to take off the ceiling lamps to change settings from the module. Thanks.
