  1. Well you are pretty close to my initial mental design. I was going to plan on soldering a parallel resistance contact across the exist gdo wall switch. This would be controlled via a 120vac normally closed? latching relay with control being "energized" by the load of the switchlinc garage light controls wire/neutral. This would pulse as the light is switched on or off. This would be pretty close but would require some tweaking to not simulate a open close command to the gdo. I do have a kit on the gdo already to control it's operation and status seperately. This design would leave the gdo lights timed open close function as is.
  2. Hi everyone. Seems like a simple requests for input or advice but need some quick help. Currently I have a hardwired momentary OEM garage door opener by the garage entry door. This remote has both open /close and garage door opener lights on off buttons. shared by same 2 wires. I assume the light push button is a momentary contact switch pulses and output to turn the garage door lights on and off. I would like to keep its existing functionality (ie on with garage door operation and off with a timer after a certain number of minutes). This remote is hardwired within a foot to switchlnc that controls my other garage lights. My goal would be to control the indoor existing garage lights( controlled by switchlinc switch) to also control the lights on the garage door opener. I knew when I started drawing wiring diagrams I was probably making this too complicated. Has anyone had any luck with this? I'm thinking a relay but not sure on specifics Also dont want door to open and close each time I turn on garage lights. Thanks in advance, Cazz
