wondering...do i just cross the wires at the wall remote? if it triggers it, the insteon kit will work?

hearing back from the developer? I have emails several times about ISY Zwave integration for the software and have not heard anything back. Yes I know the ISY is able to be seen as well as insteon devices for the isy, but no zwave yet. Anyone know the developer or have ANY info from them? Thanks

I just installed the 8500 Elite this weekend. Great unit. Really is. Anyway, it is MyQ enabled. So I would need to wire another push button switch, if I have the button that has the LCD on it? The controller I have on the wall is controlled with two wires. Looking for the ability to monitor, open, close, the garage door motor I just installed. It is the elite 8500 model. It has the MyQ system built in. So I can use the liftmaster system to open and close it, and monitor but it is just another system for me to look over. Would rather have it all setup through the ISY. Look forward to any feedback! So just do the 'add a device' for the insteon device like a zwave decide?

Ahhh ok...this is a little different then UPB which is what I am used to Now if I can just get the plugin module purchases to work. I am accessing the admin panel via safari and it is not bringing up a page to purchase modules. So I am going to try firefox now...see if that works. Chrome on the OSX platform doesn't support 64bit yet. I know it will be worth it once everything gets working

I am a new user and installing everything. When I called UD when figuring out what I need, I was told to get the serial version of the PLM. So I did. Now when I go to install everything i find that I don't have a serial port on my computers. So I need to do the usb version instead or just get a serial-to-usb converter? Why would I be told to get the serial version VS the usb version? Was there a particular reason? Do I also need to run the insteon software on the computer that the plm is plugged into or does the ISY handle all that and the ISY will just find the plm on the network regardless of which computer it is plugged into?
