  1. Ok Thanks!
  2. thanks, so you are saying that since only the ISY is going to the internet just to poll for date/time we should be good to go correct?
  3. Just checking on this issue that someone brought to my attention. First of all I am a I?T Director and know standard on routing etc.. But am asking anyways We have a ISY-994I controlling a whole house, it does connect to the internet via a router it is plugged into and the router is connected to the cable modem to get it out on the internet to gather date/time information. Is there any chance that we need to worry about a compromise on the ISY-994i? and is there any documentation on this or what should be done to shore it up.. We have not configured it to be remotely accessed via the internet and it does not have a public ip assigned.. Thanks for any help on this matter Chuck
  4. Thanks will give that a try!
  5. I have a basement with 4 banks of lights. The lights are on separate Insteon 2477S due to load restrictions. Basically I have a 8KPL that I wan to do the following: 1. the main on/off to turn on/off all 4 2477S (basically a all on/off button for my whole basement) I created this as a scene and it worked great! 2. I want to also be able to turn on/off the 4 banks independently with 4 of the other buttons.. but when I troed to do this the ISY stated that the 2477S was already in a scene and to only make it a responder.. what am I doing wrong? Thanks!
