  1. Ok, so if I buy the Mobilinc Pro, how long do I have to try it and if I don't like it will I be able to return it? And is there no other method of controlling lights thru ISY and my cell phone, without paying more money?
  2. Thanks Sanders, where can I get the UD Ajax program? Actually the Ajax GUI, I found some source code for Ajax but that looks rather daunting!
  3. Thanks, I had downloaded the mobilinc trial a few months ago, didn't try it, and now it has expired. Guess I'll have to pay the $19.99 to see if it works on my system
  4. Hello experts, this may have covered somewhere in the forum but I didn't find it yet. I want to be able to control my lighting with my android cell phone. I have ISY-994i and can control lights from the administrative console but I want to control on/off, dimming, etc, from my cell phone. I've heard of the Insteon HUB but people here have said that this could be done with the ISY and some other apps? If so I'd like some help finding the app for this that will work with ISY-994 Thanks all, Ed Spann
  5. Thanks Michel. I'm at my router configuration page. My next question is, of the options listed on the wiki page, I think the best one for me is: "On your router, make ISY's IP lease permanent (DHCP Reservation)," So under "DHCP Lease time" should I choose "Make Lease Permanent", and will this effect other devices connected to my computer (my web cameras for example)? I've tried most of the other suggestions and I still get Not Able to Connect to Internet from ISY. I think I have the router configured for port forwarding correctly, as I see the address in ISY as 10.0.0.11
  6. Ok, I'm at the port forwarding window in my router, and I added a new service(TCP & UDP), called it ISY but I'm not sure how to configure the port, it's asking for port number so I put in 10.0.0.11 for the server port, and 11 for the Start and End ports. The router administration recognized it finally but still no internet connection in ISY! This is where I previously had to add porting service for my Swann camera access on my smartphone.
  7. Hi Michel, I also have an issue with trying to install the Mobilinc software. From the Admin console I get the same error message: "Failed enabling internet access". And I don't see an option to disable internet access, so my Mobilinc Lite program cant register the software! when I log into my local router IP it shows I'm connected to 10.0.0.11. and the mac address is the same as shown on the admin console "about" window.
  8. thanks for your reply stusviews, they are CFL's not LED's but I'm assuming these are not dimmable. I'll try to find those next
  9. Thanks LeeG, now my only problem is with the 60 watt CFL light bulbs I have. When I turn a device on at full power through a LampLinc device, it lights OK. But when I set the control for less than 100% brightness it doesn't change the brightness, or starts to flicker. Is there a solution for this or just an incompatibility with Insteon and this kind of light bulb?
  10. Thanks LeeG, that seems to have done it. I deleted the old profile for that device, added it again and now I see 8 separate addresses, I assume these are for each button.
  11. Hi guys, I upgraded to the ISY994i, so now I need to know how to get the buttons to show up in the tree. My KeypadLinc shows up in the administrative console but there are no buttons that I can see. At the buttom of the window there are several buttons, such as "Buttons Grouping" and "Buttons Toggle mode), but I don't know what to do with these
  12. Thanks EricK, I'll check it out.
  13. Hi LeeG. I think I solved this thanks to you and Jimbo. I don't know how to send my reply to Jimbo in the later post but here it is, quoted: I think I figured out what I was doing wrong. I did not add the second button, the one with the LampLinc load button B as a responder to the Main button on the KPL. I added that button, as described under "Advanced Features, Add Multiple Scene Responders" in the Keypad Dimmer Owners manual, and now the Main Button on the KPL does indeed turn on both devices and to the On Level set in the ISY. Thanks to LeeG and Jimbo for your help!
  14. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong.
  15. Hi LeeG, my problem now seems to be that the MAIN button on the KPL only controls the load connected to it, but not the LampLinc which is connected to button "B". Button B will turn on its load but the main button does not. How do I get the Main button on the KPL to turn on the scene? I have both responders setup in the scene in my ISY and their On Levels set to 20% Thanks, Ed Spann
