  1. Yep. I am starting at 0 on the EISY. Thanks
  2. Looks like I have a lot to lean. I see the code. Where/how do I apply the code?
  3. Had to register than log completely out and back in and I am in. Thanks. Now, the reason I wanted the plug in is I use it in scripts in isy994. For example, if the alarm goes off the isy turns on all the outside lights and some of the inside lights. Is this even possible? if it is, please point me the info on how.
  4. From the start. I use IoX finder to bring up Poyglot 3. click on the Plugins Store. Scroll down to the Elk plugin. When I click on the Elk plugin I am directed to the IP address of the eisy address port 3000. That is when I get the error.
  5. Finally moving to eisy from my old isy994i. I need to connect to my ELK security panel. Tried to load the ELK plugin and got Error 404. Then tried to load the AmbientWeather plugin. also got error 404. What could I have missed?
  6. I did not see a forum specifically about the HUB2 so please forgive if this is not the correct one. I reciently got a HUB2 (because the Amazon Alxea up was updated and no longer supported the isy994). plugged it in set it up all without a subscription. Is this a grace period or is a subscription not required for local control?
  7. Thanks. Will probably start the move for two reasons. 1) I need the portal function and 2) with my luck the isy994 will up and die at the worst time. I am in Oklahoma and on OEC. would be nice if their meters spoke openADR. Also have some solarEdge solar panels, same comment.
  8. I have been busy with other projects so have not kept up with all that has been going on with regards to isy994. I have gotten some Emails lately that indicate the isy994 is on the way out and is being replaced by the eisy. Is this true?
  9. FarmerGeek posted a topic in Insteon
When I started home automation I used X-10. There was a noise meter that would tell you the signal strength of the X-10 signal and the noise level. I have look but cannot find an equivalent for Insteon. Does one exist?
  10. Trying to update the firmware from 4.9.0 to the latest (5.x) there is no automatic update, just manual. I thought there was an automatic update option. If not, where do get the update file?
  11. Have had this configuration for years. Sometime yesterday it stopped talking. the scripts that don't depend on any outside input work. Can't connect with app, My ELK or agave. can't ping. when I look at the network connection I have green lights. Is there a way to rest the network or is it dead? Edit: think I found it, bad hub
  12. fixed. tks all.
  13. what is the (than)? wrote a script that has no if just than. turns on a light, sets a bar. waits 2 min than turns the light off and sets the bar back to 0. disabled it than ran. works. tks.
  14. Yes the wait command used to work. reset, disconnected power and left off for 10 min Can't figure out how to copy/past code. but here is the basic idea if door violated (signal I get from my elk) Than turn on entry light turn on garage light $GarageEntry=2 want 10 minutes $GarageEntry = 3 turn off garage light turn off entry light $GarageEntry=0 else (no else) GarageEntry gets set to 2 and never changes. here is the error log Time User Code Message Sun 2021/07/18 09:10:52 AM System -5012 53 Sun 2021/07/18 04:21:43 PM System -5006 uuid:53 Sun 2021/07/18 04:21:44 PM System -5006 uuid:53 Sun 2021/07/18 04:21:50 PM System -5006 uuid:55 Sun 2021/07/18 04:21:50 PM System -5006 uuid:55 Sun 2021/07/18 04:21:50 PM System -5006 uuid:55
