Looks like I have a lot to lean. I see the code. Where/how do I apply the code? -
Error404 when trying to load any plugin from the PG3
FarmerGeek replied to FarmerGeek's topic in Polyglot v3 (PG3x)
Had to register than log completely out and back in and I am in. Thanks. Now, the reason I wanted the plug in is I use it in scripts in isy994. For example, if the alarm goes off the isy turns on all the outside lights and some of the inside lights. Is this even possible? if it is, please point me the info on how. -
Error404 when trying to load any plugin from the PG3

From the start. I use IoX finder to bring up Poyglot 3. click on the Plugins Store. Scroll down to the Elk plugin. When I click on the Elk plugin I am directed to the IP address of the eisy address port 3000. That is when I get the error. -
Error404 when trying to load any plugin from the PG3

Finally moving to eisy from my old isy994i. I need to connect to my ELK security panel. Tried to load the ELK plugin and got Error 404. Then tried to load the AmbientWeather plugin. also got error 404. What could I have missed? -
Thanks. Will probably start the move for two reasons. 1) I need the portal function and 2) with my luck the isy994 will up and die at the worst time. I am in Oklahoma and on OEC. would be nice if their meters spoke openADR. Also have some solarEdge solar panels, same comment.

I have been busy with other projects so have not kept up with all that has been going on with regards to isy994. I have gotten some Emails lately that indicate the isy994 is on the way out and is being replaced by the eisy. Is this true?

Trying to update the firmware from 4.9.0 to the latest (5.x) there is no automatic update, just manual. I thought there was an automatic update option. If not, where do get the update file?

Have had this configuration for years. Sometime yesterday it stopped talking. the scripts that don't depend on any outside input work. Can't connect with app, My ELK or agave. can't ping. when I look at the network connection I have green lights. Is there a way to rest the network or is it dead? Edit: think I found it, bad hub

what is the (than)? wrote a script that has no if just than. turns on a light, sets a bar. waits 2 min than turns the light off and sets the bar back to 0. disabled it than ran. works. tks.

Yes the wait command used to work. reset, disconnected power and left off for 10 min Can't figure out how to copy/past code. but here is the basic idea if door violated (signal I get from my elk) Than turn on entry light turn on garage light $GarageEntry=2 want 10 minutes $GarageEntry = 3 turn off garage light turn off entry light $GarageEntry=0 else (no else) GarageEntry gets set to 2 and never changes. here is the error log Time User Code Message Sun 2021/07/18 09:10:52 AM System -5012 53 Sun 2021/07/18 04:21:43 PM System -5006 uuid:53 Sun 2021/07/18 04:21:44 PM System -5006 uuid:53 Sun 2021/07/18 04:21:50 PM System -5006 uuid:55 Sun 2021/07/18 04:21:50 PM System -5006 uuid:55 Sun 2021/07/18 04:21:50 PM System -5006 uuid:55

Have a 994i and noticed recently that the wait function is not working. have it in several scripts and everyone stops when it gets to the wait command. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I know I can home brew a solution (do EMI for a living). Was looking for a canned solution so I can move on to more fun thinks.

It figures. Have had the lights to long. They are in a workshop that was built almost a year ago. I had the lights and switch installed then but just now getting around to wanting to switch it remotely.

Brought up the ISY admin console. Renamed each device (Fan, Living Room, etc). Verified that each device was responding. Brought up Agave on my phone and verified each device. Went to alexa.amazon.com and selected "Smart Home". Selected "Devices". I can see all the devices I originally installed and can operate (and other things like our printers and Direct TV devices). Clicked on "Discover". A window pops up "Alexa is looking for devices" Runs for about 20 seconds but no new devices. It seams like I am missing a step but can't remember.

blmiiler said he had a hardwired leviton noise filter. Where did you find the filter. I just installed two LED lights in my workshop and I can turn them on but once they are on the produce so much noise I can't remotely turn them off. I would really not have to install an outlet and put a plug on the run going to the lights.

Posting this to a new thread because the one I posted in another older thread may not have been seen. I have isy devices working with Alexa. Set it up a couple of years ago. I can't get Alexa to discover 6 new devices. I can see and control the new devices through the dashboard and with agave and I can still control the old devices through Alexa so I know the port is still working. I read the steps at the beginning of this topic and unless I missed something have done them all. Any ideas? Thanks

I do have the ISY on a static address. Have always had a static adders. I do have a the address space split into reserved for static devices, have several, and assignable by DHCP. When I switch to the UDI for smart home skill Alexa is able to find all my devices, just can't command any of the devices. Based on other comments I think I need to get the Mobilink skill removed. If you see in one of my other comments the username (email) and password I use to log in to this forum does not work.
-
When I try to use the username "FarmerGeek" I get can't find user. When I use the email address and the password I use for this forum I get incorrect password. When I try and change the password I get Can't find account. So I am confused.

at this URL https://www.universal-devices.com/login-for-ticket/#lform and should the username/password be the same as here?
-
error ,oh in Alexa or isy. if Alexa, where di I find it?
-
I think I found the problem but don't know how to fix. so confirmed isy is up and running. go into UD ISY portal and it shows the ISY is not on line. Verified the UUID, even deleted and re added. What else can I look for?

I set this up several years ago so here is what I remember. Yes I know that using Alexa is going through the cloud. I want to limit my exposure. On the 994 I have ISY portal installed. If I remember correctly this is how I had it to start with. On Alexa I can "see" all the devices, they don't respond. Right now I also show "Portal Integration - Mobilink Connect" installed but don't know how to remove it.
