  1. dbuss's post in Can't remove zwave device - error message [LIB_DRIVERS-UYZ_GEN_ERR_9_BODY] was marked as the answer
Right click on the device and select delete. This will delete the device from your eisy. The device would need to be factory reset before trying to include in a system.

  2. dbuss's post in Problem with z-wave Zwave Plug with Energy Monitoring, was working now not updating it's energy status was marked as the answer
The recommended way to remove/exclude a Z-wave device is the use the remove/exclude option on the admin console. Here's a link to the document that explains removing a Z-wave device. https://docs.universal-devices.com/production/zw.pdf
If you use the removed failed device option as you have been doing, you should factory reset the device. Even though you removed the device from your eisy, it still has your eisy as its controller. Using the recommended method will remove the device from your eisy and remove your eisy from the device.
  3. dbuss's post in Geofencing programs was marked as the answer
I've used this to do something similar to what you want to do.
    Program 1
Set a variable to 3 when you enter your geofence.
    If
     Chris has entered the geofence

    Then
            $Chris is home  = 3

    Else
              $Chris is home   = 0
    Program 2
Turns the lights on and sets $Chris is home  = 1 should you want to use the $Chris is home  = 1 for something else when you are home.
    If
    From    Sunset
            To      11:00:00PM (same day
            and
            $Chris is home= 3

    Then

Set 'Front Entry / Front Porch Light / ZY 012 Front Porch Light' On
Set 'Front Entry / Entryway light / Entry way overhead light 011' On
Set 'Side Deck Lights / Side Deck Lights' On
            Set $Chris is home  = 1

    Else
            $Chris is home   = 0

My experience is power cycling is the best way to fix it.
  5. dbuss's post in First Alert ZCOMBO Alarm Question was marked as the answer
I appreciate this information. Thank you!
I got the 2nd generation alarms to add and display correctly by putting them right next to the Eisy when adding them. The 1st generations would not add.
  6. dbuss's post in Aeotec TriSensor: no values was marked as the answer
    For what it's worth.
I've experience this with a few Z-Wave devices and currently with my First Alert ZCOMBO alarms. The other devices that experienced this I was able to get all the nodes by removing and re-adding and in some cases preforming several interviews. Thus far I've been unsuccessful doing this with my First Alert alarms.

Only one of the outlets on this receptacle is Z-Wave controlled. The other is a pass-through outlet.
  8. dbuss's post in Help With A Program was marked as the answer
    @DennisC
I think I've solved the problem, thanks to the questions you asked. I already had a program to turn the garage lights on if the garage entry door was unlocked. I added a wait time and then turned off the garage lights and locked the garage entry door.
I already have a program that if the light switch is turned on manually, the programs are disabled for an hour for those instances when I want to be in the garage longer than the wait time in the program..

    Thank you fro the assistance!

  10. dbuss's post in Node Server Not Controlling Lights was marked as the answer
I requested and received a new API. With the new API the Govee lights were discovered. I had to query each to be able to control them. So, it may be that the lights need to be queried every so often. Problem resolved for now.
  11. dbuss's post in Roll back ISY 994i from 5.3.4 to 4.9? was marked as the answer
Does the ISY that has the 5.3.4 firmware have Z-Wave installed? If it does, it would have the series 500 board installed since it has the 5.3.4 firmware. The series 500 Z-Wave board will not work with 4.9 firmware. if it has the Z-wave board installed and you aren;t using Z-wave your could remove the board and then install the 4.9 firmware.
Here's where you can fine the 4.9 firmware.
