I have a motion sensor setup in a bathroom and when I had it setup with the Insteon hub it seemed a lot faster then now being setup with the isy. I have a program setup for the light to come on. Is there a different way I can set this up to make the light respond faster? If From 5:30:01AM To 10:29:59PM (same day) And Control 'Motion Sensor-Sensor' is switched On Then Set Scene 'Light Bulb Scene (day)' On Wait 3 minutes Set Scene 'Light Bulb Scene (day)' Off Else Set 'Bathroom Strip Light' 20% Wait 2 minutes Set 'Bathroom Strip Light' Off Thanks!

the home has a Subpanel and the isy and plm are both on it. Can I add a range extender(2992-222) closer to the other switches that are connected to the main panel?

What could I do to fix this issue? is anyone else having this issue?

I setup a house with dimmers (2477d) and (2477s) in two different locations. With keypads controlling all the lighting in the house. My issue is that when a scene is pressed there is a lag between some lights. This is around 1-2 full seconds. Could this be a issue because I set this whole system up with all the modules right beside each other in one location and then took them to the site and put them into their place. Is there a way that I can fix this? Thanks!

What apps are there available for controlling the ISY from a phone? I have only seen Mobilinc but are there others? Both android and apple.

So I just made a crossover cable. When you mean configure could I just turn off the isy and turn it on with the cross over cable connected to the computer and isy? would that make it show up in my isy finder?
-
I am wondering if there is a way that I can connect to the isy directly and make changes to the programming without having a internet connection. What I have tried is connecting the computer and isy to a switch via ethernet cable but the isy does not pop up in the admin console "isy finder" This is not for permanent link just something temporary so I can make some changes. Would it be possible to connect the isy to my computer directly through one cable? Thanks!

This may sound stupid. But I would give it a try, turn all apps off and restart your computer.

I had that program Lee, What ended up being my solution was to "restore the device" I did that for all three keypads and now they are functioning properly.

Why are my keypads not in sync? is this a common issue? I just created a AllON/OFF scene for my living room lights. I have 3 keypads in different locations in the living room that have this scene so it is controllable from all 3 locations. The AllON/OFF scene includes a light that is also controlled by all three keypads. When the AllON/OFF scene is turned on I would like that scene light on all keypad buttons to turn on at the same time. Example: When I press A for AllON/OFF scene on keypad 1. All the other keypads with that associated scene turn ON their backlights on their keypads. Also All the individual lighting scenes that we within that AllON/OFF scene turn on. So the keypads will now have button A on and button C because if that individually controllable lamp is on the keypads need to have button C illuminated. My issue is that not all 3 keypads are consistently in sync with each other. What can I do to make them sync properly?

What I ended up doing is creating a scene with just the button. then at the beginning of a button press it turns off the other button keeps the fan on and restarts the clock at the new scene. Everything seems to be working great!

I did this but when I press the 45minute button after I press the 15min one it still turns off the 15 minutes. What is the command im looking for?

I wanted to create a scene using my Insteon Keypad and 2477S to control a bathroom fan. I want the fan to turn on for 15 minutes when I press button A I want the fan to turn on for 45 minutes when I press button B I am wondering what the best way to program that using the admin console? and if you have any suggestions. Thank You

I just dont understand. I just created another scene and it was created however the lights do not turn on to the level that I set them to, they just turn fully on.

The connection issues seem to have cleared up. so I am able to control the dimmers through the admin console from universal devices. Is this the best way that I can program a system? before I programmed with the insteon hub app and I didnt have that many issues. I am using admin console now because it has different options that I need.

I really hope that I don't have to do this.. I have 12 keypads with 40 devices that need to work properly or I will be getting a lot of calls.
-
Powerbar. I have all the modules on the same power strip for programming
-
I have 40 dimmers and 12 keypads they all blink red when i do the 4 button press
-
I just switched power bars just to make sure that wasn't it.... Now it seems that I cant get any commands happen when I send them from the admin console. Before I switched the power bars I got a warning saying "cannot communicate with keypad blah blah, please check connection. after I switched the power bar I had a warning that is now gone saying that my system is in safe mode. Plm defective..

I also just created another scene for the lights to dim to 50% when I press button C on all keypads and they all just turn on to 100%. hmmm
-
I have the keypad buttons set as controllers and the lights all set as responders.

Yes you can put steady power to the shower pot light. Do this safely there are plenty of videos on youtube. But long story short turn off your breaker so there is no power in the switch, then open it up and the switch should only have two wires going into it. If this is true marette those wires together and you should have steady power to the light.

I am using the isy and programming a few keypads with some dimmers. my setup. 6 2477D dimmers (insteon) 3 8 button keypads (insteon) What I did is create a scene to control 6 lights with the one button on each keypad (button B on all keypads) When I made the scene I dragged the 6 lights and 3 buttons into it. My issue is that when I press button B on one keypad it turns on the lights but does not turn on the keypad lights on the other keypads consistently.. any ideas or suggestions on how I can fix this? If you have any questions please do not hesitate and ask me. Thank You
