  1. I was just being quick. I have to say "Alexa, turn the garage door on/off".
  2. Saying on/off did it. Thanks.
  3. Strange about the link. Trying it again. I don't use scenes for anything else, but this seems to be the only way that the KeyLinc button light will indicate the garage door status. And I've updated Alexa.
  4. So I setup my I/O Linc Garage Door opener using the instructions here https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Garage_Door_Kit).In effect, its using Scenes to control the opening and controlling of the garage door. It works fine from the KeyLinc and ISY interface, but Alexa is unable to control it. I named the scene "Garage Door" in the Alexa interface, but I get the "I'm not sure how to help you with that" err or message when I ask it to open or close the garage door. Thanks for any thoughts.
  5. Hello, I'm new to ISY but have been using an Insteon Wireless Thermostat to monitor a pool for a few weeks. Until today, it was running on battery and using the waterproof probe connected to the external sensor port. Today I soldered the external thermometer and switched to a 5V power supply and now I'm having a problem. Though the temperature reads correctly, when put in the pool, the temperature display is going crazy, updating multiple times per second (and seems to be between +/-5 of the actual water temperature). So basically the temperature can't be read. It didn't happen on battery power, which may have been because it doesn't poll the temperature as frequently? It also doesn't happen when its measuring the air temperature so I don't think its a soldering issue, but does anyone have any idea? Thank you.
