Thanks, it worked. I took TexMike's advice and added a 5 min wait timer too.

I was seriously overthinking this. Lol. I was digging around for conditions, etc. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

Is there a way that if my ISY reboots from, say power outage, I can execute a program to send me an email? Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  4. Have all 3. So both options are definitely available. I think i will use the fanlinc for fan only and use the switch on/off portion wired directly to the light. If fanlinc dies for whatever reason I will still have my lights. (Most important) I won't have to drag ladders and such out just to get my lights back. Based on what you both say, I think that will be my preference. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  5. Fan constant on, switch is light only so I definitely have both options. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  6. I bought a fanlinc, the 6 button keypad, the replacement buttons. My question is-should I wire the on/off part red load wire to ceiling fan lights and cap the light control wire on fanlinc, or use the fanlinc light control and cap the red wire and use a scene? I have both options. Not sure if physical wired switch and dimmer would be better than using a scene to do the same thing. Thoughts? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
