That is correct about the USB PLM only coming with HL2. I bot it from a friend as he had HL2 with an extra PLM. I have already returned it and bot a 2412s !! Thanks.

Thank you for your fast response. I found two connectors that will get me from the usb to serial. I am not sure what you mean by it needs to be the other way around. I purchased a PLM for my new ISY99i. I did not notice there were two options for the PLM and I purchased the USB version. Instead of returning for a serial and being down a few more days, is it possible to use adapters to go from a RJ45 to USB Btype male. I f . I found the correct adapters for the configuration, but WILL IT WORK. Does this lower the reliability? Thanks, JT
