  1. Go into the ISY and create a variable under the integer tab. The homebridge code isn't smart enough to continue if you have no integer variables setup. I just clicked new, then save, back to homebridge and it works.
  2. Anyone have a solution for the notifications loss?
  3. I transitioned over from the MobiLinc portal to the ISY portal and am finding some strange issues. iPhone 6+ with iOS 9.2 (latest) At first everything was working, now I never get device status in mobilinc. Just a dash. Mobilinc seems to timeout very quickly. I'm on a sat internet link so ping times are 800ms+. Should I have expected to lose notifications in Mobilinc? The geofence around my house no longer works, nor do notifications when insteon devices trigger. Is this expected and is it on the list of things to be added/fixed? I tried syncing again and got a "mobilinc accepted the certificate and is now connect to the isy" message. Tried sync again and it's now parsing addresses. No change, noting shows a status, but control works.
  4. To close this up for me, it took Micheal's magic on their end to get it working. All good now.
  5. Already opened a ticket, just waiting for the UD guys to come back to work.
  6. After I login I see my ISY with a red X and a status of never connected. Verified UUID. Delete and re-added. Never get a prompt to authorize on the ISY portal page. I checked and changed my DNS server settings and rebooted multiple times but still no prompt to authorize. I should add that since I have a working MobiLinc portal configured I don't expect IP address or DNS settings to be the issue, otherwise Mobilinc wouldn't work either.
  7. How do I delete the MobiLinc portal? I can't find a delete anywhere.
  8. Thanks Jon, I did that too, and verified my UUID multiple times. I'll open a ticket tomorrow.
  9. Thanks, still no luck. I signed up in 12/2014 for the ISY Portal. Setup an account, never get anything more than the MobiLinc portal option. Frankly, it shouldn't be this hard.
  10. Same problem for me. All up to date, but the only portal I see is MobiLinc. I have the ISY portal active as per the buy modules screen, but it won't show up in the portals tab. UI version matches firmware version 4.3.26. Manage modules gives me nothing. Any other ideas? Thanks
  11. I haven't seen scenes, homebridge basically ports the devices over. Then inside the homekit compatible app on your iDevice you create rooms and zones to group the devices. Homekit is smart enough to then make logical groups. For example, create a room called great room, then put three lights in it. You can tell Siri to turn on the great room lights and they all come on, likewise, Siri, turn off the great room lights works. Turn on the indoor lights also works for all rooms in the indoor zone. You can also setup scenes in the iDevice app. The examples in the Eve app are Good Morning, Good night, I'm home and I'm leaving. I found I needed the Insteon+ app to initially setup my Homebridge device, then I use Eve and iDevices to control and manage them.
  12. For the benefit of others, I got all my devices to show up by looking at the nodes on the ISY at http://<isy ip address>/rest/nodes, then editing the isydevicetypes.json file located in /usr/local/lib/node_modules/homebridge-isy-js/node_modules/isy-js/isydevicetypes.json to add each missing node. The type tag in the nods list has to match a tag in the isydevicetypes.json file, those missing nodes appear to be easily added by copying a like device and adjusting the type tag in the json file. I have more to learn about the valid Homekit types in order to get things like leak sensors and motion sensors full operational, but now that I have the basics of how the devices are identified, I'm on my way.
  13. Like markinpgh, I have my homebridge up and running. I have close to 40 devices and only 5 show up. Not even all my lamplincs show up. Any thoughts? Scan this code with your HomeKit App on your iOS device to pair with Homebridge:
  14. Since the ISY runs linux, any chance of adding node.js functionality to the native OS so those of us willing to experiment could?
  15. This might be more relies in the ZWave section. Not sure if an admin can move it or not.
