I apologize for my anger but in answer to your post, I did know what to expect and did rewrite all the necessary programs and all of them (with one or two unexplainable exceptions) worked fine. No, I had no issues with anything ISY or Insteon before the upgrade - it all started after.

Does anyone know how I can add the 2477S switch without getting the "Cannot determine Insteon Engine" error message?

I was running 4.4.6 perfectly. As for 5.3.4, I did not know there was a newer version since there is no update notice on the top of my admin console .

Since I upgraded to 5.3.3 I have had nothing but problems. This is a total PIA. I have been using this system for years and years and it has always worked beautifully. Not any more. Cannot determine Insteon Engine trying to add a new device. Tried every combination of steps to add a new 2477S Rev 6 including manually using the set button on the device but no such luck. Motion Sensors and simple programs. Okay, I had to rewrite most of my programs which was a pain but now I cannot get many of the programs to work at all. I have a motion sensor that is linked to an outlet directly and the motion sensor turns it on as expected. I have a program that is triggered by the outlet turning on which turns on a light fixture, waits 8 minutes and then turns off the light fixture. Cannot get this to work any more even though before the update it has worked for years. I deleted the program, rewrote it completely step by step but it will not work. I could go on and on and list other issues with this version but it seems like I am stuck. What to do? On top of all this, if Insteon is really being discontinued, all my devices will need to go the same path as all my X10 switches did a bunch of years ago.

Just upgraded to 5.3.3. The only issue remaining is my email and text notifications do not work. When I log in to Gmail, Google connects to my phone for me to authenticate that it is me. Obviously, that will not work from ISY. Anybody have a way to solve this?

Upgrade to 5.3.3 went smoothly and I was able to add the siren to the system. Now, most of my programs are listed as "Not Loaded" and "Out of Memory" and in yellow. I tried to add a new program with on condition (if) and one action (then) and when I saved it it is yellow and also "Not Loaded" and "Out of Memory". I have attached the about dialog as well. I already did the fix for memory in the Java. I am unable to properly clear the Java cache for some reason (see attached). Help!

Need ISY Support for Insteon 2868-222 Siren Just purchased two of these devices to add to my system and the ISY sees the address but tells me it is an unsupported device! Now what???

So I wrote a program to set the backlight level to 0 for all 8 switched on the keypad and still every one is dimly lit in the background. I have two other 8 port switches on the system and they are perfect. Lights off until switched on and then at 100%. Turn off and they are out (0). Anxious to hear any ideas!!!!

Okay, so how do I access my ISY from my android phone when out of town?

I have an ISY9994 and an Insteon Hub to allow some control of certain devices when not at home. How can I get the ISY to see the status (on/off) changes for devices changed using the Hub?

So I see the difference in icons for Program has changed, program is disabled, and program. Why are some programs red and others green? Where can I find the entire "legend" for programming icons and colors?
