I am just now getting around to upgrading my 300 series board with a 500 series board. I originally was at 5.0.15A, with the 500 installed the ISY would not boot with new radio. Read that you had to have a minimum of 5.1.0. Put the old board in booted up and proceeded with upgrading to 5.1.0. Installed 500 card no luck on booting up. So I went ahead put the old radio back in to boot up and upgrade to the latest 5.3.4. Post upgrade put in the 500 radio, ISY still will not boot. What steps if any did I miss, what troubleshooting steps should I try next? Currently sitting at 5.3.4 with no Z-Wave radio installed on the header.

If you ever decide to split, let me know I'd be interested to see what kind of deal we could make on a few things. J

I am looking for suggestions on a in floor receptacle that Is able to support a decora outlet so that I could use an Insteon outlet. Does anyone use anything worth the ~$50+ price tags?

Also what methods do you guys use for a physical interface, I find that fiddling with a phone is too cumbersome. What is your thoughts on running it via a VM vs physical hardware? I have been tossing this idea around and cant decide if VM is the right solution for a router.

Solved: Factory Resetting all switches fixed this issue. Could the switches that I bought labeled new from Insteon's Amazon page be refurbished/used? What are the odds of getting switches that were used and had prior links with one another?

The setup: 4x Dimmer Switches set up in 2x 3Way. One set controls 3 pendant lights, the other is for the can lights. The problem: If I turn on the can lights from the primary switch (hooked to load) it also turns on the pendants. If I turn on the can lights from ISY only the cans come on. If I turn on the can lights from the secondary switch, only the cans come on. If I turn on the pendant lights from either switches or the ISY, only the pendants come on. Thinking back on it, the day I installed these I want to say I did not have these issues and everything worked as expected. If I didn't get the results I was looking for I wouldn't have bundled up the box and installed the cover. One weird thing to also note is that I do not have the exclusive ability to turn on/off these devices from Agave, however I can dim them. When I try to turn then off or on I get 'Failed to update device' Troubleshooting: Thus far, I have un-linked all switches and tested from a single switch configuration for both sets of lights. When un-linking switches I did find that I mislabeled the switches thus my scenes had one of each switch linked, aha that had to be the problem. However, I received the same result after the scenes were deleted and the links were undone. All of my the other devices are working as expected. Any suggestions on what I can do further to troubleshoot this problem?

Disregard my son pulled the cord at the fan.

I have a simple scene setup between a 6 Button Keypad-Linc and a Fanlinc. The one On/Off buttons on the KPL work the Fan Light, and the A Button on the KPL works the Fan Motor. A Button and the Fan Motor work fine however the On/Off buttons and the Fan Light do not. I have tried toggling the Fan Light directly rather than the scene with no luck either. I have the same configuration set up 3x in my home and all have been working perfectly until now. I upgraded to 5.0.4 roughly 2 weeks ago, so I don't believe this is hurting me. Below is the logfile from a scene test. Nothing looks out of the ordinary to me. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. SOLVED! Thanks Stu, I had a brain **** and had the lights dimming from the KPL and the Fanlinc.

The bulls that came with the fan. Not sure of the specs on them. And no I didn't cap it off. That's probably my issue Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

I am hooking up a fanlinc and a 6 button kpl and I am having issues with the lighting on the fan. The lights flicker the whole time does anyone have any ideas? If you need more information just let me know. Thanks, JayC

I wanted to run my idea by people to get thoughts on my project. I want to use a FanLinc and a 6 Button KeyPadLinc. I want to be able to turn the light and fan on independently, as well as use the scene buttons to do a 50% and 100% light level, and 50% 100% fan speed. Does anyone else do anything similar?
