[Motion activated for existing sprinkler system]

I ended up moving before I got it all set up. That is a good point about if a car drives by, mine would have probably have been triggered. 

With my new house, I am doing something similar but not for sprinkler system. When outside motion is triggered at night, a scene of inside lights will trigger. So, random lights will turn on when motion is triggered outside. Kind of a simple security system.

Nice... I have a few old Insteon MS, I will give it a try, I can put little cover over them. ... My yard is like the neighborhood group litter box. I wake up every morning with new piles...

[Motion activated for existing sprinkler system]

Looking for a way to add wireless motion detectors (3) to an existing lawn sprinkler system. When a cat comes into the yard, I want the sprinklers to come on, day and night. I thought I could possibly use three Insteon I/O 2450 in and series it through the sprinkler controller. However, I cannot any Insteon outdoor wireless motion sensors. I have been out of the system for a while, do they not make those anymore??

[Connecting from a ISY 99i directly to a Mac]

I have a customer who is using the ISY 99i in a empty house while they are out of town. They want to be able to hook up directly to their mac when in town to make changes.

I do not own a mac, and have not been able to find an answer....

 

Is this possible and what kind of cable would you use?? Serial to usb??

[DynDNS set up question]

I have an ISY-99i. I have an account set up with DynDNS. Do I need to set this up on both my router and the ISY-99i?

I am trying to figure out how it points straight to the ISY-99i.
