  1. Thank you both. Thank you both. With the above info, I got it working. Thanks again. Al
  2. Hi Larry I suppose I may not understand the fan mechanism. If the fan is running on medium speed, and I ask to switch it to low, would the most recent command take precedence, and not create a conflict of two speed commands (low/medium) interfering? if not, I would not need to shut the fan off first. That said, my original question of how to program shutting off the fan medium wall switches when I change to low speed still remains. Thanks for your input Al
  3. Good evening I had a program in ISY that I am not able to duplicate in EISY. I have a ceiling fan (2475F FanLinc) that has buttons for low and medium speeds. If i turn on one of the low speed buttons, I would like the program to switch off the medium buttons should they be on, shut down the fan, wait five seconds, and turn the fan on low. The program I want is below, and I cannot task the medium switches to turn off under "Then". My choices are Query, Backlight or Write Changes. Am I overthinking this? ______________________ Fan Low On - [ID 0014][Parent 0001] If 'LR Table - E - Fan Low' is switched On Or 'LR Left KPL - E - Fan Low' is switched On Then ******* 'LR Table - F - Fan Med' is switched Off (No option to add this command to "Then) (Just Query, Backlight, Write Changes) ******* 'LR Left KPL - F - Fan Med' is switched Off (No option to add this command to "Then) (Just Query, Backlight, Write Changes) Set 'LR Ceiling Fan-Motor' Off Wait 5 seconds Set 'LR Ceiling Fan-Motor' Low Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') ___________________ Thanks!
  4. Michel fixed me right up. You were all correct. I have a weak PLM, and it took some moving to find an outlet it liked. Needless to say, I have ordered a new one. Thank you all!
  5. Thanks for your input, Dennis. I moved the PLM to two different circuits, with no change. EISY does not talk to the devices, and unable to add device.
  6. I followed your suggestion about disconnecting and reconnecting the EISY and PLM (#2412S ver 3.1 BTW) Same problem see photos. First image x39 messages. The last ISY save was done right before migration. It was version 4.90 .. old) Removed device and tried to add. Got error message in photo 3. Cannot Determine Insteon Engine. Was able to get Programs as text. I'm ready for a support ticket if you and Techman are stumped. How much of this thread should I add to the ticket? Should I just reference the thread here? Thanks for your help, Geddy & Techman. I'm dead in the water here.
  7. It will take me a while to work through this. Easy questions below. I will get back to you on the rest. I cannot control any devices with red exclamation. Status is blank. PLM plugged into the same outlet as used for ISY994. Devices work .. I can control a lamp from the wall etc. I have not tried locally controlling from modules if that is your question Most of the programs are still there. There are just a few with the error messages, so I can retrieve a record. Programs still have messages from first post. Maybe the problem is that the last ISY save was a few years ago, but admin thought it would be ok. Get an error message with every device while logging in. I'll try to get a screenshot. I will reply with attempts to hard reboot EISY and other suggestions. Thanks!!
  8. Admin Support got me in. Diagnostics says PLM Connected. Still, no connections, except one keypad.
  9. Not having a good week. Easy question - the PLM is as old as when I first started ISY .. over 15 years. It is connected by the serial PLM connector I bought with the EISY. I have a white light lit on the PLM. I did what Techman suggested and completely cleared java cache and reloaded the launcher and restored devices. No luck. To answer the IoX questions, I have locked myself out of the Login on the launcher. It will not take my password. Stupid - I logged back into IoX and mistakenly loaded the ISY backup instead of the IoX. Now I can't get in. I have a request into support, but have not heard back. My password is good here, so I will have to wait for further guidance on passwords to get into IoX launcher. I haven't worked with this in a long time. I added no modules recently and the others worked, so I left it alone. You two have spent a great deal of time with me, and I appreciate it. I know the free migration support has long past. I asked Admin Support if paid support is available.
  10. I'm still having problems with the migration. I am getting message boxes at startup that IoX cannot communicate with any of the devices. Yet, all of the devices still work. Double checked all of the suggestions above, and once again reloaded the IoX backup. The PLM is ancient, but connected correctly. I'm sorry to keep bugging you all, but I appreciate the help.
  11. Thanks, Techman. You saved me again.
  12. I am having trouble with the ISY to EISY migration and have been getting help from the EISY forum. In reloading my backup, I cleared Java cache and have lost my IoX icon on computer. It is no longer in the program file either. How do I get the Icon back?
  13. Restored backup and still have the error messages. I will look at the programs and see why they are giving me problems.
  14. Thanks, Techman. Didn't think about, About. Both v.5.8.4 (2024-6-27-11:35:44) Insteon support checked, PLM plugged in.
  15. Sorry for my ignorance ... Where would I find EISY Firmware and UI version? Is this in the Iox Finder box on startup? Version 5.8.4 uuid:00:21:b9:02:6b:8d Insteon Support is checked in Admin Console.
