  1. So right now i have the ISY99i/IR (1030). There is no power supply connected to it. It is connected to the PLM and my switch directly. Although i am not using IR much with it right now, I would like to try again when I get the new ISY (I also have a global cache setup on my system). So I am looking at your UDI store for the ISY upgrade path. This would be appropriate correct? ISY994i/IR PRO (UPGRADE) for $145? TIA.
  2. Hi there, I have been using the ISY99i/IR for years now. With dark winter coming its my typical time of year to replace a bunch of my insteon dimmers that continue to have paddle-up issues and attempt some new programs (to drive my wife crazy). i have replaced these dimmers many times. Most are v35 or newer (v38, v40, etc.) O well...with an entire house full of Insteon, I have no alternative. I am in for life. Anyway that's my problem not yours. But i too just got the certificate error and luckily found this thread so i can access the admin console. I would like to upgrade my ISY using the upgrade price. But I am confused as to which new ISY to get? I would like to use my Harmony1 to trigger some scenes using IR if possible. Can you direct me to the correct product or products? Or do i simple choose between the 99$ and the 145$? And finally, can you give me a coupon to lessen my pain? Thanks. Still love my ISY after years!
  3. So I seem to be really missing the "link" with regards to getting a program to work with an insteon motion sensor for room occupancy (bad pun intended). Can anyone give me some tips as to what jumpers to set on the motion sensor AND what options for the motion sensor to set in ISY (Night Mode, Sensor Mode, etc. none of this stuff is in wiki)? I am trying to setup a basic room occupancy program for my bathroom (for testing really). There are two lights (ceiling light and mirror lights). I am trying to create a program like this: If the motion sensor senses motion AND both lights are currently OFF (or not ON I guess) AND it is nighttime THEN set mirror light to 50% THEN turn off BOTH lights about 1 minute after a person leaves the room (or the motion sensor stops sensing motion) Seems so simple but I am struggling! I had a hard time in Logic....
  4. Nevermind! I figured it out from this thread! http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=2252&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=45
  5. Hi all, So now I am trying to execute some basic REST control of my insteon devices from a web browser. I have upgraded to the latest ISY beta 2.8.4 My ISY has a static IP on my network. I have the device ID of a test Insteon switchlinc device (12.5A.25). Could you tell me in the simplest way how to try out a basic REST connection to turn the light ON/OFF? I have been trying (in Chrome, FF, IE) this with no joy: http://admin:admin@MY ISY IP:MY ISY PORT/rest/nodes/12%205A%2025/cmd/DON both with and without the %20 with no luck. I got a 404 error. Any tips on just making sure i can execute a REST command?
  6. So I have had an ISY99 for awhile and am trying to interface it with the Irule Ipad app. I have been searching these forums about the REST interface and I wonder if the ISY99i/IR I have is capable of receiving the REST style commands from the Irule or do I need the ISY 'web server' upgrade or something? I am running 2.7.15 Is anyone using Irule by chance with their ISY? I would love it if someone could help me get it working. TIA. Sean
  7. I have a bunch of sonos equipment and the ISY99. I think i may be having some port issues. I set a static IP for my ISY. And I am forwarding TCP/UDP ports 443 to the ISY's static IP. But I believe sonos also uses port 80 as does ISY for HTTP. Can I change the HTTP and HTTPS ports that ISY uses (I see that i can in the configure page). If so, are there some safe and recommended ports to use for the ISY that wouldnt conflict with other devices?
