  1. oh, yes sorry. 2450 iOLink v.41
  2. Of course! Sorry, had frantic family running around. ISY994i (1120) I'm running 4.7.3 now but I just updated it AFTER it started working correctly again.
  3. I still don't understand what happened but when I changed the "Momentary hold time" from 2.2 to 0.0 it seemed to fix itself and also reset itself to 2.2 but it's still working correctly.
  4. My programs were not working so did a "restore devices" to get my programs working again and I thought was doing well. except when my wife let me know the water is turned off! I turn the water back on and then it turns itself back off. I've disabled all the programs and it's still happening. I grabbed the log from when I press turn the water on to after it turns itself off but I still can't figure it out. Can anyone else tell what this log is saying? 3D 4E 58 1 is my shutoff valve. 5. I think I'm missing something simple that I just haven't found the right thing in the other threads about this. I have two fanlinc, one 6 button wall switch and one 8 button remote. The goal is to have the switch on/off be the lights switch button A turn both fans on low switch button B turn both fans on med switch button C turn both fans on high switch button D turn both fans off remote button A toggle both lights on/off remote button B toggle fans med/off <----this is where I'm having the most problems---- I have the other remote buttons set for other things. Lights are mostly working, the remote gets out of sync but a second press gets it back in sync. Switch buttons pressed direct where working correctly until I make the programs for the remote B toggle med/off I made two programs but do I end up needing to make four? I'm trying to get around the sometimes needing two remote button presses to change the fan program 1 "remote b button on" fan med status switch B is off and status switch D is 100% and Control remote B is switched ON Or Control remote B is switched OFF then set Scene 'Fan med' on program 2 "remote B button off" fans off status switch A 100% or status switch B 100% or status switch C 100% and control remote B is switched on or control remote B is switched off then set Scene 'fans off' on I've even tried a different thing and it keeps turning the fans off if remote switch b is switched on and status wall switch D off is not off then set scene fans med else set scene fans off
  6. Is there a way around this? A program or something? In my case I've got button A turn on/off two lamps at the same time but have button C set on/off lamp one and D set on/off lamp two. If I turn them both on with button A, it would take two presses of button B to turn off lamp two. Same with another button, I've tried to set up a program when button H is pressed to turn off about 6 different lights. Most of the time it'll take two presses of that button before It'll know to start the program.
  7. Great info! Thanks. Most of my normal lights are dimming LED but I'll make sure to get the other switches for the lights that aren't. Z-wave does sound like the way to go. My thought was waiting until they make a z-wave plus module though after seeing those multi sensors and that they can be powered over USB not just batteries I may not wait for an updated module then.
  8. I'm about to pull the trigger and get a bunch of parts for my home. First time trying this out. I'm on the fence for the controller, obviously the ISY994i but the plain, the zigbee or the zwave. I have a handful of MCT320SMA door sensors I could use, but looks like the ISY zigbee controller can't use them. I don't have any zwave items at the moment, so I could wait until a zwave plus module becomes available unless there is a benefit of the sensors over insteon. My main question then would be comparing the door sensors and motion sensors insteon vs zwave is there an advantage of one over the other? I hate changing batteries so the longer lasting sensors the better, I'm only using them for lights on/off and a good 25-30 min before lights off is needed after motion. Another question, is there any reason not to get the dimming switches when controlling lights? If they control non-dimming they should be able to be set 100%on/off right? I'll also be controlling multiple fans with lights as well. The insteon fanlinc looks perfect paired with a six button wall remote and 8 button hand held. Thanks for any input.
