  1. Thank you. I will double check the address. I need to just start taking pictures of them. Also I will try the linking method that you suggest. Thanks for the advice.
  2. Yes, You are correct I cannot add the 2472D as a device. The comment about the remote linc is just that. A comment. I routinely have communication warnings about motion detectors and remote linc. My assumption is that those are normal and not indicative of a larger network wide communication issue. Am I wrong? Do you have any advice about the outlet dimmer problem?
  3. So, I wanted to replace a lamp linc with an dimmer outlet 2472D. When I try to find it with my ISY994i it is a no go. I recently updated firmware and UI to most recent 4.6.2. I reset the outlet dimmer to factory default but it did not help. I checked the outlet dimmer by linking it manually to two different switches, each one on a different phase of my house panel, but close to the outlet. It responds to those switches. I took the lamplinc that I am replacing and literally plugged it into the non-dimming half of the outlet. I am still able to communicate with the lamplinc and control it but cannot commission the outlet dimmer in the ISY994i. I am really just sort of a hobbyist so this may be a little over my head. I have included an event log from one of the attempts to add the outlet dimmer to my ISY but all I can see is that the outlet does not respond to attempts to communicate. 4. Thank you Lee.
  5. I have only had my 994i for a few days so I am probably just stalled on the learning curve. I have a scene that I want to trigger through a program. I trigger it at the end of a time period using a command in the else section of the if...then..else statement. In this scene I have all of the level slides set to 20% in the scene tab. The device tabs on level sliders are all are all set to 90% (it says applied locally). The ramp rate sliders are all set to .5 in every tab (devices and scene) for soft start purposes. Will setting the scene "on" cause these lights to ramp up at the scene ramp rate to the scene "on" level? Will telling them to "fade up" cause them to ramp up at the local ramp time to the local "on" level? As I said before I am kind of a noob and I am struggling with the differences in terminology between this and house link. Thanks in advance for your help.
