  1. 1. Possibly not, I'll likely re-flash a fresh 4.9.0 2. Sounds good, I can try that.
  2. A few months back, I was on v4.9.0 and I attempted to upgrade to 5.x, not realizing that my Z-wave dongle was not compatible. I was able to flash back down to 4.9.0, and most devices work, however, I am getting a lot of "Unexpected NULL database for uid=" all over. Namely, my door lock was not communicating well, so I excluded it and get the attached error whenever I try and include it. My gut is that flashing down from 5.x to 4.9.0 didn't truly wipe things out. I don't have a huge network (7 devices), so if I have to rebuild from scratch, that's totally fine. I have all my programs saved. Anyone have any advice for solving the "Unexpected NULL database for uid=" I'm getting, or maybe the steps to essentially factory reset and start freshy fresh? Thanks in advance!
  3. @Geddy, great info, thanks! The email notifications are working for me at 4.9 without having to get UD involved (I use a custom Pushover email to get Pushover notifications to my phone and they're working fine). I'm not a heavy UD user, just 2 switches, 2 locks and 1 tilt sensor. Is there any compelling reason to go to 5.x? Everything is working fine right now, so I'm hesitant to upgrade for nothing.
  4. Thanks, that seemed to work. Appreciate it!
  5. I went in one shot from 4.9 to 5.3.7. Hopefully someone can chime in with some steps. Thanks!
  6. I upgraded from 4.9 to 5.3.4 and I realize now that I have the 300 series Z-wave and not the 500, so my Z-wave status shows "Z-wave dongle not responding" I've tried re-flashing the 4.9 backup I had overtop of the 5.3.4 and while it finished fine, the firmware still shows 5.3.4. I did a factory reset using the button on the front but that didn't help. Can anyone suggest how to get back to 4.9 so I can re-build everything?
  7. What was your process to downgrade your firmware? I can't seem to get it to work (flashing the 4.9x firmware, restoring a 4.9 back-up, etc.)
  8. What is the best way to know which firmware I need? I am using my ISY 994i with Z-wave devices (no Insteon). - ISY 994i Series including Z-Wave support - ISY 994i ZW, Z, or ZS Series (Z-Wave/Zigbee and/or if you do NOT have a PLM)
  9. I was afraid of that. Haha. Thanks so much Michel, you've been a great help!
  10. I didn't think that upgrading the Z-Wave firmware would have wiped everything; I thought it was just a simple firmware upgrade like every other device. Lesson learned (the hard way) I guess. ...and no, I've never done a Z-Wave > Tools > Backup before. That being said, I assume I need to delete all my devices (I only have 5), Add/Include them all again, and then update my programs to make sure they're using the newly added devices?
  11. I went to "File > Restore ISY" and choose a backup that was made prior to upgrading to see if that would help.
  12. Last night I upgraded my ISY to 4.5.4, and then I proceeded to "Upgrade Z-Wave Firmware" as well. Now, when looking at my devices in the Administrative Console, they are unresponsive and show with a ! beside them. I tried restoring the ISY but no luck. I can't get anything to respond. Any ideas?
  13. Same here, works, but it also doesn't send the message from the same number, so it doesn't group them in my text messaging app. That may be a deal breaker for me since I have a separate sound for ISY notifications and it won't work if the sender keeps changing. Back to the drawing board (with Android)...
