  1. Thx, yes I am using Harmony skill and the apps on the fire TV just wont show up.
  2. Hi Guys, Currently I have my echo dot working the a vizio tv, roku 3 and amazon fire Tv. I have two questions/Issues. When I run the Alexa setup app for my Harmony remote it picks up the apps on the Roku but not on the Fire TV. Does anyone have the same issue with the Fire TV? I can have Alexa turn TV on, off and such delights. Is there any way i can do a sleep timer. I tried "Alexa, turn TV off in 5 minutes" She sad "OK" and just does not do so. Can anyone shine some light on their experience regarding this? So far I am enjoying the the linking of Alexa and Harmony remote. Will be trying to figure out other things I can do beyond the basic functions Thx in advance!
  3. Wow, I just got around to doing this. First of all, the LED setting was on, it was already on one node and Heart beat was set to one hr.....so there goes my battery life...right? OK then, I measured battery voltage and got 1.5V and change the heartbeat to 21+ hrs. The only thing I have checked is Send Cleanup Message...what is that and should I uncheck it? I also set the low voltage to 0.99V. Question: Can I poll it and get battery voltage whenever I want? and whats will happen when the voltage goes below .99V, will it alert me or display a voltage message in the console? Thx,
  4. Jon, I am not getting the one/two node thing, and I did not know there is a heartbeat setting....let me know more on both please. I will be setting it up again when I go home today....will report back to you guys... Thx,
  5. I am not getting any low battery signal. It just stops working after and when I replace the battery its all good again. I did not measure the battery voltage when it fails. I am going to use it again with the recently installed open/close sensor and do that test.
  6. I have one hidden door sensor and battery life has been dismal.... i have to change the battery every 2-3 week and if very frustrating due to the work I have to do to change and purchasing batteries more often than I expected. I finally got fed up and got a regular open/close sensor for that door. Now i am looking at a wasted sensor every day. Any thoughts on why battery live has been so horrendous and what can I do to make it any better? Thx,
  7. Thx guys, I came home about an hr ago and low and behold my original program is now working. When I opened the door the program detail indicated that I was running the "then' portion of the program....when I closed it back the 'then" disapeared which indicated that it was cancelled. If I leave it open for five minutes, the AC shuts off....as intended. So all is well. I added the front door and the door leading to the garage to the program, tested and all is fine....Again, thx for you insight
  8. I am using an Insteon Open/Close sensor....and a Honeywell Z-Wave Thermostat...Thx.
  9. I am trying to make my program work but I am having problems. I want to shut the AC off when the door is open for five minutes or more, then turn it back on when the door is closed (after the five minute interval). But here is whats happening. If the door is open for five minutes without closing then the AC shuts off...and that's great. However, if it is opened and then closed right away, the AC shuts off and that I don't need to happen. I just need the AC off if someone leaves the door open too long. Sliding Door Open-AC Off - [iD 0020][Parent 0001] If Status 'Doors and Windows / Door-Sliding' is On Then Wait 5 minutes Set 'Air Conditioner' Mode - Off Else Set 'Air Conditioner' Mode - Cool Can someone tell me how to get the AC to stay on of the door is opened and closed before the five minute elapse. Thanks
