  1. It looks like 5.0.16c is as high as I can go until I replace my current z-wave module.
  2. Thanks to both for the responses and the link. I’ve been putting this off but seems it’s time to give the upgrade a go. Do I need to upgrade to 5.0.16c first or can I go straight to the latest firmware version?
  3. I've been using my ISY exclusively with Insteon devices for probably 6+ years and have just over 50 switches, etc. - all working great. I added a Schlage Z-Wave lock about a year ago without issue, but I'm now trying to add a Leviton plug-in dimmer (DZPD3) and my ISY just isn't finding it. Although my ISY is running v4.9 I've never upgraded my Z-Wave module firmware. I'm now wondering if this is preventing it from finding this newer device. Distance between the ISY and Leviton is about 12 ft. My current version info for everything is below. Would updating the Z-Wave firmware likely improve this and if so what is that process? Thanks in advance.
  4. Thanks LeeG. You nailed it for my particular requirements. I didn't realize each device had a scene.. Any way I could substitute a variable for the On Level?. Can I pass an On Level as a parameter through a program call? Just trying to save a lot of typing...
  5. Thanks Lee. That is indeed a lot of additional programming. I'll give this a try when I get home tonight. Is there a way to set the %ON from a variable so I don't have to hard code this everywhere? Thanks, Tim
  6. This looks to be pretty much what I'm doing. Assuming you have multiple switches in your scene, do the local switches respect the on level set from the ISY when turned on at the switch?
  7. I want to say yes, the scene was setup from the ISY but just to make sure I removed the switches and added again to the scene from the ISY after confirming the links were removed at each switch. Turning on/off from the ISY scene has always worked fine. Results at the local switches are the problem and the same as reported before.
  8. Thanks everyone for the quick replies. The program suggestion above seems to work for a single device. I have three 2477d dimmers in a 4 way switch configuration (Scene) that seem to not work this way. I've tried setting the whole scene to 30% and the individual dimmers to 30% and all to 30% with interesting but undesired results. If the first switch I press is the one with the load it show 30% on the LED and the light is at 30%. The other two dimmers however show 100% on the LEDs If I press any of the other 2 switches, that switch shows 30% on the LEDs but the other 2 switches show 100% and lights are on at 100% Pressing the switch controlling the load after pressing either of the other two results in 100% brightness on LED and light brightness. It seems like when each device sends the 'ON' command to the other linked switches it ignores the 30% limit. Thoughts or Suggestions? Thanks, Tim.
  9. I want to set the default on level so that when someone turns on the switch it only goes as bright as the set device level based on time of day/night.
  10. Hi All, Is there a more advanced programming environment in the 994i that I can use to programmatically access local device settings? As an example, I'm looking for a way to set local device on levels based on time of day and I can't seem to find a way to access these via the Admin console programming page. Thanks, Tim
