  1. Unless there is an update to the data ISY is blind. Insteon is push technology. You may query devices from the ISY end, as stated above, except for battery devices. Sent from my SGH-I257M using Tapatalk
  2. As per Stu. They gotta' match or the synchro may be off. Don't forget to clear your java cache and start the UI fresh Sent from my SGH-I257M using Tapatalk
  3. Welcome! Ask not what you can do for your ISY, but rather, what your ISY can do for you. Sent from my SGH-I257M using Tapatalk
  4. I had to clear my cache with all options for javs after win 10 install as per Stu above. Sent from my SGH-I257M using Tapatalk
  5. This is going to be simplest to just install Switchlinc dimmers for all. Then you connect and reconnect your Insteon pathways anyway you want and also change your mind as often as you want or until the wife kicks you out, whichever comes sooner. The bonuses would be dimming, automatic control/ motion sensor activation, and auto off timing, and other HA advantages. Sent from my SGH-I257M using Tapatalk
  6. If you switch the power off to zinsteon devices they have to re-establish connections each time and they will not remember their dim levels.
  7. Yeah. I just noticed that and I can't figure out why or how that could happen.
  8. Same here. I have ten Insteon MSes and never had an All On or Off. Most of my MSes are direct linked to lights via a scene, and timed off by ISY.
  9. I have about a dozen Cree bulbs of different types and they all worked perfectly for about 3 to. 4 months. Now two have died and three others flicker without dimming. One did brightness dips so bad I have replaced it. It was a $40 BR40 bulb and was not on any Insteon device or dimmer. I won't be buying any more Cree bulbs in the future. I have a 5 bulb fixture now with three different vintage Cree bulbs and they all dim on different curves.
  10. You should be able to do the same thing without the v5 repeat while construct. In X10 I did it by calling itself with a recursive program that detects the level hitting 100% or 0% and then aborts. I am not sure how you would do this with ISY as I am not close to one right now. I am also not sure what ISY would do if you overrun the subroutine return stack.
