  1. Hello, I am trying to get the SolarEdge server working with my ISY. I went to Polyglot Cloud and added the SolarEdge notes with the api_key. As far as I can tell this part seems to be working OK. My ISY shows a new SolarEdge controller but the panel is empty. The Node Servers menu has a new entry for SolarEdge that let me "Add Node" and this is where I have problems: I suppose I need to add an Inverter? Then I am asked Name/Node Address/Primary Node Address? What are those? The SolarEdge API seems to indicate that the query are do to the SolarEdge Cloud with the API key? Are the addresses IP address of my Inverter, SolarEdge website? Thanks!
  2. The initial setup was a bit rough. This is made worse by Chrome dropping Java support. Past those hurdles, this is a powerful little box, programming is easy and I am stating to do more advanced things.
  3. Method #3 works fine (jnlp). The applet plugin does not work. Thanks
  4. I have Java 8, update 73. This is what you get by default if you do a Java update. I do not think the problem is with the Java VM, but it is bugs and permissions issues with the software. The software works when interacting with the device but the file-io operations do not (backup, restore, update, etc).
  5. The UI works a lot better on Windows 10. At least I can save a backup of my device. On the Mac the Finder does not work right and you end up in an infinite loop eventually crashing the virtual machine.
  6. They do match. They are both 4.3.26
  7. v4.3.26 and using the Java console on a Mac Yosemite. The Java support has problem as well with file IO (access right). Also the pop-up for reading / writing files is not working right. Will investigate that tomorrow, but first will try it on a Windows 10 box.
  8. Ok I got the sensor working! I would not call the software really ready for prime time. Quite a few bugs in there (note that I am myself a software developper). I rebooted everything and I was able to link the sensor in seconds.
  9. When I place the sensor on top of a wet towel, I can see the LED blinking for 1/4 sec or so. Nothing in the ISY. Both the PLM and the ISY are in my office now, less than 10'. I know the sensor use to work with the revolv upstairs and the sensor in the basement.
  10. I am new to the ISY994i. I use to have a revolv but this is no longer working. After some hardware issues I have been able to link an Insteon ON/OFF switch. Not sure how I did it but it works. Now I am trying to link a leak sensor (Insteon 2852-2222). I followed the procedure here: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Linking_a_Leak_Sensor but I do not think my sensor is linked or communicating with the ISY. On the Java client page, the heart beat, we, and dry status box are just empty. Any ideas where to look next? Thanks
