Is there a link to the installation instructions anywhere? Just upgraded to eisy and would like to use this feature since the upgrade broke the eventghost setup I had. I would rather put the effort into this new feature. Thx I did find the PG3 login and see the plugins there. I will keep digging on setting this up.

If I remember right I followed the same procedure as an upgrade but using the older version and it worked fine. Maybe because the versions were closer? Did you upgrade in one shot from your original version or did you have to step through other versions? May have to follow the same procedure to back out? Not sure the experts would have to chime in on that one.

OMG. Never mind. Deleting all the devices and readding them did work. Now I do see them. I just was not looking at the scenes tab also. Still strange all the stuff that was unresponsive.

This morning several devices no longer work with Alexa. When I look at the device in Alexa it was unresponsive. I checked the ISY portal and nothing has changed. I am able to control devices from the ISY portal with no issues. All the devices/scenes are correct in the ISY portal for Amazon. I tried disabling the skill and re-enabling, nothing changed. So I removed all devices/scenes in Alexa. Ran the discover and now it only discovered about half of the devices. The same ones that were unresponsive are not being discovered. Also I deleted one of the scenes in the ISY portal for Amazon and recreated. It still did not discover it. Anyone run into this before?

Want to thank you for the response and putting me on the right track. I downgraded to my previous version (5.0.16C) and zwave was back. I reset zwave and added my devices. Sorry I missed that part of the notes. I had no idea which version of the zwave board I had. Hopefully this will help someone else in the future.

DOH! I even read that but did not realize I have the old board (I am not sure I do but I will check). So would my best coarse of action is to downgrade my firmware without having to buy a new zwave board? Do not want tp spend $70 for just a couple of none critical devices.

I did several searches but cannot find how to troubleshoot this issue. I really do not use zwave much except for the siren. I upgraded to 5.3.0 some time ago and just realized teh siren is not working. When I check in the admin console all I see under zwave is "zwave module not responding". I have tried powering off and then back on with no luck. I thought maybe a separate firmware update for zwave but I could not find anything about that either. Not sure where to go from here. I added a few details but I do not want to get to detailed as I am not a licensed electrician and this does not modify the existing wiring between switches in any way. The pic is just to understand the function of the switches in relation to the micro switch. Thanks for pointing it out and I hope this provides enough detail.

Any single switch I have uses a SL or KPL. The point here is using normal switches in there original places to control a light without having to replace all the switches to maintain the same configuration. This also allows me for $30 to add these to the other KPLs in the house. I have to maintain all switches for the WAF (Wife acceptance factor)

It seems the switches never go on sale and you have to use 2 for each 3 way config. That adds up to quick and I have a lot of 3 or 4 way switch in my house. So I figured I would try the Micro switch (2442-222) to control these lights. The only snag is you have to have a power source on the same side that the light wiring is located. In other words you have to figure out the side the light is wired into the box and verify you have a 120v source there. If you have only 5 wires (2 for light and 3 for the traveler) then you cannot do this configuration. I have gang boxes with 3 or 4 switches in each so not a big issue for me. Attached is the drawing I did to show how I wired it. Works like a champ. Now I am sure someone has done this and I just did not see it in the forum but I figured it cannot hurt to add my 2 cents Actually $30 for a 3way config. I like those prices.

OK I have to know what is a simple admin console search. I do not see a search option in the menus.

Ok.. With a little poking and prodding from you guys I think I figured it out. It appears I did have a program left over from when I was using the reverse trigger setup. Before I changed the sensor. But it never posed a problem so I must have not noticed it. I believe what happens when a power failure occurred the keypad button would be off when the power was back on. Therefore the program was true and would trigger the relay to raise the door back up. Attached is the program

So to close this case.... I did a restore modem (PLM) from the ISY. I then power cycled everything again. TADA everything worked. I am not sure why or even if this was the solution. All I know is it did not work and now it does. Is it possible for the PLM to affect the programs? To me it kinda makes sense since scenes can run without the PLM and they all worked fine. I really appreciate the help from this community. You have made my hobby fun and successful.

It is not set for Tigger Reverse. As I said this has never happen before, last night was the first time. I will check the logs but the console responses normally. Like I mentioned no programs run even a simple one like below.

I had reset everything multiple times. It is ALL programs, not just a select few. I even created a new timed program to turn a light (not a scene) 5 minutes in the future and that did not work. So it isn't just programs that receive input from an external device. Attached is a screenshot of all the version. I just did the upgrade within the last week, could that have caused this? It worked fine after the upgrade. The is killing my WAF (wife acceptance factor) Also last night at the 3am check the garage door went up. It woke me up so I know that was what it was. That has never happened before.

For some odd reason all my programs decided to quit running. I created a simple program to run when a switch is toggled and it will not run. If I execute the 'then' or 'else' the program executes. It will not trigger on it own from any device. Anyone experience anything like this before?

I selected it and we will see what happens I tried this and it does not work. The door still will not stay down unless I remove it and re-add it.

I do not know what Program lock is. I will look that up. But the settings do not change in ISY. It just quits working properly. Yes, after a power failure the door goes down then right back up.. every time all the time until I go through the reset routine. If I am not home I have to have the wife unplug the IO linc in order to close the door. All keypad buttons are in non-toggle mode. Hey guys thanks for the replies. much appreciated! But I do not see a resolution... or I missed it. I have a IO linc and it is not setup with reverse trigger. Works great until a power blink or failure. Then the door will not stay down. I have tried shortcuts to fix it but no luck. Have to remove the device, reset the IO linc, add it back to all the scenes. Has anyone found a more reliable way to manage this? No programs, just 2 scenes, one for the relay and one for the Sensor which is linked to keypads. Sorry to beat the dead horse just hoping for a different answer. Thanks in advance

OK guys thanks for the info. I will turn off the reverse trigger tonight and see if the door will go down and then stay down. If it does I will change the contact.

That was the only way I got my garage door to go down. If I enable it the door will not close. I would have not issue replacing the switch.. That is the the reason it would quite working? How can I verify that is the issue? Remove the tigger reverse?

All I did was add my ISY to Amazon Echo. Now the garage door will not stay down. I had it setup with several keypadlinc so I would know when it is up or down. This is the 3rd time it has lost its settings. Can I prevent this? What am I doing wrong? Is it common for these IO lincs to loose settings? When I push one of the keypadlinc buttons I have setup or the garage door button. The door goes down then right back up. I had to disable the iolinc to get the door to stay down. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
