  1. This error started after going to latest Beta. I read other posts in the Beta 2.7.3 thread and see other communication related errors. I have not had communication errors prior to this release and there have been no changes to the topology. I am using an IS99y/IR Pro with 29 Insteon devices. I tried again this PM with error. Event log posted. 2009/05/19 19:58:18 : [Office Table Lamp] Start : Adding to scene 'All Lights' 2009/05/19 19:58:18 : [Office Table Lamp] Making 'All Lights' a Controller 2009/05/19 19:58:18 : [Office Table Lamp] Making PLM group 17 a Controller 2009/05/19 19:58:18 : [MNG-LNK-RSP ] 02 6F 40 E2 11 0A 9A 95 01 07 32 15 2009/05/19 19:58:18 : [Office Table Lamp] Using engine version i1 2009/05/19 19:58:18 : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 0A.9A.95 0F 28 0F 06 SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:20 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0A.9A.95 0F.45.0F 2B 28 0F SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:25 : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 0A.9A.95 0F 28 0F 06 SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:27 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0A.9A.95 0F.45.0F 2B 28 0F SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:27 : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 0A.9A.95 0F 2B F0 06 PEEK (F0) 2009/05/19 19:58:28 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0A.9A.95 0F.45.0F 2B 2B A2 PEEK (A2) 2009/05/19 19:58:28 : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 0A.9A.95 0F 28 0F 06 SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:28 : [iNST-ERX ] 02 51 0A 9A 95 0F 45 0F 75 41 79 EA C4 AA 88 0F 04 F8 40 38 C3 52 92 89 0E 2009/05/19 19:58:29 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0A.9A.95 0F.45.0F 23 28 0F SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:29 : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 0A.9A.95 0F 2B F1 06 PEEK (F1) 2009/05/19 19:58:30 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0A.9A.95 0F.45.0F 2B 2B 11 PEEK (11) 2009/05/19 19:58:30 : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 0A.9A.95 0F 28 0F 06 SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:30 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0A.9A.95 0F.45.0F 2B 28 0F SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:30 : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 0A.9A.95 0F 2B F2 06 PEEK (F2) 2009/05/19 19:58:30 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0A.9A.95 0F.45.0F 2B 2B 0F PEEK (0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:31 : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 0A.9A.95 0F 28 0F 06 SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:33 : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 0A.9A.95 0F.45.0F 2B 28 0F SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:37 : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 0A.9A.95 0F 28 0F 06 SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:44 : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 0A.9A.95 0F 28 0F 06 SET-MSB(0F) 2009/05/19 19:58:46 : [Office Table Lamp] Finish : Adding to scene 'All Lights' was Incomplete 2009/05/19 19:58:58 : [ Time] 19:59:03 3(0)
  2. Earlier today I upgraded to 2.7.3. I did not post this in the beta forum since there is a possibility it is not related. I removed two devices (lamplincs) and readded. The first readded with no issues. The second fails with the following errors: -200000 Failed writing the high water mark n/a -200000 Note not added - failed removing link. How do I begin to troubleshoot and resolve? Thanks
  3. I am replacing my X10 world of 25 years with Insteon. So, it's a totally new adventure for me. Up to now I have purchased an IS997-IR and all lamplinc modules. Now with a few days of holiday I recently purchased new devices. Several 2876D3 Icon Switch dimmers and 2466 Togglelinc dimmers. Granted I am a "Newbie" and I am only familiar with Lamplinc modules. In the console "MY LIGHTING" the devices appear the same as ControlLinc's and not like other devices with a lightbulb? Is it me, a bug or did I do something wrong. When I added the devices, I used the "New Insteon Device" option, entered the actual device address and specified the product type. Thoughts? Thanks in advance. K
  4. Looks like it was the RJ45 cable between the PLM and the ISY. Replaced cable and everything is working. Interesting though. No issues prior to upgrade to 2.70. Thanks for the replies.
  5. I am migrating from years of X10 devices to Insteon and purchased a ISY99i/IR/Pro. I installed earlier today and first encountered some Java issues, but was able to overcome. I upgraded to the latest 2.70 version and everything has gone downhill this evening. The PLM indicates "not connected" in the diagnostic module. I find no info in the manual or any forum topic for assitance or troubleshooting. The PLM was working prior to the upgrade. I feel that there is not an issue with the actual PLM. The event log is logging X10 codes that are seen on the power line. Thanks for any help.
