  1. Dennis, You were correct. HTTPS worked. Thanks!
  2. I cannot log into my ISY. I log in and it immediately shows an quick error and closes(Admin Console). The Dashboard does the same thing but I was able to capture the message. See below. I am sure it has to do with the new Java update that installed automatically (Ver 8 Update 271). I have tried several times to delete ISY applet, clear Java cache, and reload launcher but same issue.
  3. That did it. Thanks, Paul!!!!
  4. Thanks for the info. I have set the motion sensor as you showed except set light sensitivity to 200. programmed as follows: If 8 hours before sunset and 30 minutes before sunset AND dusk dawn is "on" Then turn on family room lights Else nothing If I run the then the lights come on, but I cannot get the MS to trigger. I tried to put it in a closed box, but does not respond. I have the switches set to "night only" Any ideas?
  5. I have read several posts on this but am still confused. I would like to have some "dusk to dawn" lights controlled by ISY via Insteon to come on during severe weather (premature darkness) I have a multitude of spare devices but cannot figure out how to program and what to use. I have an I/O, a motion and several other spares. Can some one walk me thru the correct setting/parts/program? Thanks all!
  6. I have reduced the field with jumper 1. Today it ws sunny until about 3 pm. Once the clouds hit, the false opening occurred. to reduce the dark sensitivity, do I lower the number or raise?
  7. What is going on? I have used motion detectors to open an automatic door for our large dogs (via I/OLinc). During sunny days, it works flawless, but during cloudy days, dusk, and night, the exterior sensor gives false signals. No it is not flying bug issues as this is within a screened area. I see on ISY there is a "darkness sensitivity" and is defaulted to 128. Is this the issue or am I missing something? thanks. Program is attached. Interior is same except for motion call out.
  8. It is 120v line voltage to an internal 12v transformer. I plan to install the I/O prior to the opener, and use the I/O to send a signal to the opener similar to a push button exit. The exit terminals are simply a 2 wire contact to close circuit exactly like a GDO wall button. Currently there is a keypad on the one side and a push to exit on the other.
  9. Ok guys, I need to install an I/O linc to open an automatic door. I plan to use a new style motion on both sides of the door. I also would like to "lock out" the open function during night hours. Can someone give me assistance on writing program? Also, will things get confused when someone exits and the second motion picks up the movement? I would connect to the N/O terminals on the door opener, correct? Door is programmed to automatically close after 5 seconds. Thanks!
  10. OK, Guys, here is one to get you creative juices flowing. I need to install a automatic swing door opener for our 200# dogs as there is no way to install dog door. The opener has a variety of 12v dc NO and NO contact points. I need to install something to allow the dogs to open the door from both the inside and outside. My best solution is to install proximity readers that can read a "key fob" type card (installed on collars) and will read the dogs collar to open the door. I have not been able to find one that reads over 4". Any ideas or suggestions? I have ISY and ELK. Thanks!
  11. Has anyone used the RF side to operate a pool controller? I would like to automate our pool to work based on sunrise/sunset. currently I need to adjust the run times manually. It is equipped with a remote (RF) station inside, but it cannot be programmed except for repetitive tasks (same time, etc). Thanks!
