  1. If I wanted to press a button on my insteon keypad and execute one ISY instruction to turn on my lights and then execute a Google home instruction or routine can I do that? I can get to my Broadlink from Google without a problem........Jackie
  2. How would I use ISY programs to control my Broadlink controller that turns on and off my IR devices? Is this where the new node services comes in? I will look into Sunset. I don't know anything about it, but I will soon
  3. First let me apologize for being so out of date. I have spent about 9 months each year, for the last three years, traveling in Europe in my RV. When I was home on occasion my lights and programs just worked so I haven't even touched them. I have been adding Google Home services during this time. Based on the previous comments I have just upgraded to the latest version 5 and found the node server configuration option. I have read a lot of the posts and I am afraid that I am still stumped. Here is my setup: ISY controlling many Insteon switches, keypads, outlets etc. (all my lights are insteon) Broadlink controlling my IR and RF devices (fireplace, TV, blinds etc.) On a side note, I removed Harmony and replaced it with Broadlink. Initially the main reason was for the RF learning and control but I actually much prefer it for controlling my IR devices as well. It works the way I always wanted and doesn't force me into the scenes that Harmony tried to. Google Home controlling my music, inititiating routines that go through the ISY to turn on lights and run Broadlink commands etc. Also Google Home is my voice control for everything. Currently when I come home I tell Google that I am home and it turns on my lights (eventually), turns on my fireplace, turns on my music, and turns on my Android TV hoping that my screensaver program will come on soon. This routine triggers ISY, Broadlink and Google music. I have not yet found the dummy's guide to Nodeservers. If someone can tell me that what I want to do will work with nodeservers then I will keep hunting and reading. Please let me know if you think this is possible........Jackie
  4. I would like to be able to program a button on my Insteon keypad to turn on my lights and then somehow trigger IFTTT which would then trigger a Google Assistant routine to run. My current problem is that when I tell Google Home that I am home I have it run a routine starting with turning on my lights. Turning on my lights this way is extremely slow and I am always trying to hang up my coat and find my slippers in the dark. Universal Devices doesn't appear to take advantage of Google Home's local execution support. Obviously, touching the keypad to invoke an ISY scene is very fast. I want to be able to take advantage of turning on my lights immediately and then have that followed by multiple Google Home steps including turning on my music and gas fireplace. I thought that I might be able to use IFTTT in the middle. Any creative thoughts? .......Jackie
