  1. So @MrBill are you saying a momentary button like a doorbell prob would not work with the Yolink outdoor relay due to too short of a time closed ? I do not have Home Assistant or any home automation except stock Alexa app, Yolink app and a Kasa app. I guess I will go with a Tuya button with wifi (Alexa compatible with routines) or perhaps add a cheap camera doorbell that is Wyze compatible. I already have a camera pointing at the door. Tx
  2. Thank you. So I have a few options. I think I could use the yolink outdoor door sensor and cut wires and attach to doorbell but hard to feed wires through wall. Other option is a Tuya button, wifi based, whose app can interface with echoes. And as mentioned, probably cheaper to just use a cheap doorbell camera, Alexa compatible, with button. I currently have a working wired plain doorbell now, just not loud enough in rest of house. Thank you all.
  3. Is it possible to hook power to relay. And then use a momentary doorbell (normally open) connected to relay screws. Of course have the device recognized in Yolink app. Have Alexa see new device. When someone presses doorbell for I guess that 1/10th of a second the relay closes and passes that info to your hub which passes to Alexa which recognizes relay I assume and then run an Alexa routine to make an announcement someone is at door? Thank you Peter
