    Controlling lights in a detached garage with its own power meter

    I have had success in linking a metal garage about 175 feet from my house (power from different power line transformers about 1/2 mile apart) by using Insteon outdoor switches mounted under the eaves. I also had an Insteon bulb in outdoor fixtures on each building. The Insteon devices had straight line of sight between the two systems. While the links were only RF they were good except in very heavy rain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
